I stayed here on a short term rental lease 6mo. Though there were some cons, I'm giving this place 5 stars for it's price range. Pros: Great water pressure w/hot water, plenty of free parking, frequently emptied dumpsters, friendly office staff, your bill is the same monthly with built in cost no fluctuating pricing, well maintained grounds, responsive maintenance, and lots of nearby shopping and food. The appliances are dated, but they don't make them like they used to. Washer and dryer included, though they looked old, they worked better than any I've previously owned/used. I got most of my security deposit back. When I had to break my lease a few weeks early the staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. I would rent here again if I ever found myself back in Denver. Cons: Spiders though I think this is just a Colorado thing and partially because I lived by the water. Previous tenant was a heavy smoker, though maintanance again was quick to address and assist with getting the smell out.
I signed a lease to move in 12/31/22. When I arrived the unit was not clean and I was unable to move in as a result. the carpet was beyond cleaning anymore and had to be replaced. All of the appliances are very old and in poor shape. The quality of workmanship inside the unit is low, at best. One week later I was able to move in and still found a lot of dirt, grime, stains, etc all over the unit. Now 2 weeks later, I have no access to my mail box, still have repairs that need to be made, and have been told it’s my job to clean up after past tenants. While I knew this was an older, large complex with some issues, I would not have chosen this place if I had know what I was getting into. It’s been the most stressful move ever in 25 years of moving, the least professional interactions with some staff members, and the only place I have lived where there was simply no parking available when I come home at night. Regret and frustration is what I got from Hunter’s Run.
Roach and rodent infested property. Pictures on the site are old. They don’t clean the pool. Ringworm infested gym equipment. The maintenance workers actually help themselves into your apartment without notice and the staff are robots. Only interested in collecting money and not addressing their issues. I promise you, there are thousands of more affordable properties in nice areas all around the Denver-metro area. Do yourself a service and take this as a warning.
Ive been a resident at hunters run for almost 10 years. Throughout my time continuously Samantha as always listened to my needs, did everything in her power to get things taken care of in a timely manner, and always has been the absolute sweetest to me. I really appreciate everything you do for us Sam. You’re the best!
Old/cheap amenities, buildings, parking lots and pool are poorly maintained, most maintenance workers have no idea what they're doing, often cheap out with fixing/replacing broken items, raccoon problem in the dumpsters, car break-ins and theft, mail room has been broken into several times. It's the cheapest place in Denver for a reason. If you can afford to live anywhere else, do yourself a favor and live somewhere else.
I loved here for two years, it was my first home that I called my own by myself, and I’m so grateful for the experience I’ve had. From day one, the leasing office team did all they could to accommodate me and get my app approved. The home was nice, bathtub and fireplace were gorgeous, everything was clean and working on move-in day. A few things went wrong of course, as they as do with any residence, but the maintenance team was always timely and prioritized emergencies appropriately. I want to say a special thank you to Sam who was always amazing with her response and outstanding customer service. There was also a younger gentleman, maybe josh? I’m not sure.. but he actually helped me move my furniture in when it was too heavy for me to lift as a woman living alone. Absolutely the kindest people! Best experience I’ve had as a renter to date. Thank you, Hunter’s Run, I will always remember you fondly!
I've lived at Hunter's Run Apartments for the past 3 years and thanks to the kind and respectful staff, I have enjoyed my stay greatly! Initially, I was going to live here for a year but many things changed my mind to extend my stay and make it a home. One of the main reasons, is how the staff makes me feel so welcomed. You never feel judged or looked down on. Whatever request or questions that I have, they are always there to listen to it all. It's the kind of thing that makes me feel at ease here. The price of rent is reasonable, washer and dryer is a great plus to have in the unit. Although, I have had wonderful experiences with all the office staff, I would love to shout out Megan. Megan goes above and beyond plus goes the extra mile to make sure that I am taken care of. I just wanted to write this review to express my gratitude to her and the great staff at Hunter's Run!
I would not recommend ANYONE to live here. PARKING is horrible there is never parking after 4pm you will be forced to park outside on the street which will lead to get your car stolen or broken into, this happened to us twice & when I brought it up to their attention they didn’t care & said I didn’t file a police report with the police properly which I did but nothing was done! Office staff make you feel like you’re dumb or something, at least the person who would reply my emails. Parking spaces are small as well, you can hardly fit, so your car will get hit many times by other car doors. It literally says on the lease “Parking onsite is a privilege, not a right”. The policy for parking is one vehicle per lease holder which means if theres 6 tenants in each apartment on the lease they all get a parking space which means NO PARKING spaces available. Like what!?? Not to mention maintenance, they are literally useless. READ THE FULL LEASE BEFORE MOVING IN. The only reason we moved here is because of the washers/dryer, we didnt think we’d be struggling for parking EVERY SINGLE DAY. My husband lost so many expensive tools from his truck because of this parking issue. They also tried to steal the truck and caused damages to it. One of our neighbors said one of their vehicles was stolen & later found it. Also if you want your mail being stolen this is the place for you! Its not worth living here seriously. We wont be renewing our lease because we are sick of dealing with all these issues that affect us in so many ways, & sick of the leasing office not caring.
This place is HORRIBLE!!!!! I would give it 0 stars!!!! DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! Parking is atrocious. There are vehicles that haven’t moved since I moved in 8 months ago. Because of vehicles like these, tenants are forced to either park in the street or illegally in the fire lanes. Then, once tenants start parking illegally, if they’re parked behind you, good luck getting out in the morning. I’ve had to call UBER’s, WHEN I OWN A CAR!!!! I have contacted management and was told that they will be ticketing these NON moving vehicles. I have yet to see a single ticket. If anything breaks, which it will seeing how the appliances are from the ‘70’s, good luck EVER getting maintenance to fix it.
OMG I love Sam you know how you’ll move into an apartment and some times the mangers aren’t understanding, and can be a bit mean, welp I’ll tell you what, not these apartments, maintenance is always on point, when it comes to my work orders, the community is always clean, no trash at the dumpsters , I mean I love it ! I will be renewing my lease again, not just cause of the office staff but the community it self is so Quiet and peaceful…… so if your looking to move !! sign your lease , ohhhh and did I tell you your kids will be in the cherry creek school district .
