Unbelievable venue. If I could rate 6 stars, I would. My wife and I had our wedding reception here and it couldn't have been more spectacular. This place is the perfect size for around 250 guests. The inside of the chalet is very spacious and open, the view of the grassy hill in the spring is phenomenal, the staff and service is out of this world, and pricing is more than reasonable. HIGHLY recommended. They also have one of my favorite disc golf courses here!

Attended a wedding here. The building was a nice contemporary space. Huge and open and high ceilings. I liked that they had a buffet just for kids food. My biggest gripe was that the ceremony was outdoors and the lawn was soggy. Puddles everywhere and my shoes were soaked. I would have worn boots if I'd known. All the brand new construction and they didn't drain the landscaping properly. The skiing hill looked fun and the other amenities of the park look nice. I would like to visit and explore more soon.

My neighboring park. Great rentals , mountain biking appears to be a big hit. Kids area has a large set of net climbes and mist machine, helpful on hot summer days. Unfortunately the slides are not as exciting as when I was younger, they made them less thrilling but safety I guess was the goal. Fishing is decent, large docks. Concession stand is better than most

Big park, popular picnic and camping. Lightly traveled trails for a Sunday on memorial day weekend. Beautiful well kept paved and unpaved trails. Though unpaved trails could be better marked sometimes I felt I was just wandering in a big field looking for a different way.

Hylands Hills ski area is a great place for kids (or adults) to learn how to ski. If you are an accomplished skier I'd suggest going elsewhere. The runs are short & not very steep. My 5 year old can comfortably ski all of the runs. The Chalet is updated & a great place to warm up & grab something to eat/drink - cafeteria style food. You can bring your own food/drinks. There is a small paid parking lot at the base of the hill & a loading/unloading area or you can park up the road & ride a free shuttle.
