Imperial Apartments

I lived at Imperial Apartments for 4 years and now living elsewhere I truly appreciate the quality of the building. Especially that my PNM bill was sensible due to the eco friendly designed and insulated units. Also being able to communicate personably with management who have genuine integrity was huge. Most of all there were never any bugs or pests in the building. Defintely regret moving from Imperial Apartments.

I lived here for a year, my lease ended on Feb 2021. The manager Kesha Texis is so rude and condescending towards everyone. There had been multiple instances where I found homeless people wandering inside the building, in the stairwells, and even shining lights in people’s cars in the so-called “secured” parking lot. The cherry on top was them charging me $70 extra rent because Kesha Texis “assumed” that I hadn’t moved out yet even though I gave her a 30 day notice in person and told her that I would be out the 28th of February. I left the keys in the apartment and so they said they didn’t know if I had moved out or not. Lol get up off your a** and go knock on my door that’s 30 steps from your office if you’re not sure. You shouldn’t move here if you value cleanliness, safety, or good caring neighbors.

I'm just glad I don't live there anymore. My truck got broke into, and towed. It's not clean as it looks on the inside. I was waiting forever to see if hud was going to let me stay as a live in care giver only to be told I was banned. Can't smoke in your apartment. Not to mention loud noises almost every night, all night.

Went downhill very very fast. The office doesnt ever answer the phone or return phone calls and when they see you in person they look at you like you're speaking some alien language. So much drugs in and out of this place as well illegal activity. Oh and lets not forget about all the homeless people you have to step over to get in and out of the building. Horrible. The apartments are indeed nice but it doesnt mean anything if the rest is just one big dump.

The management, apartments, and our property maneger Jairo is beyond excellent. Their are homesless people all over, but what do you expect for downtown. Your living in downtown to be near all the hubs, such as coffee shops, the bars, movie theatre, venues, and so on.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The so called assistant manager is the biggest A-hole I have ever met. Started making demands about what he needs before even showing the product. A bunch of jokers run this failing property. Look anywhere else!

Beautiful property and a great location, with a parking structure underground and a garden on top.
