Do not rent ANY of these people’s properties. I made the mistake of renting on Spruce St. The day I moved in, the people who lived there made me feel super uncomfortable. I had to break my lease after the first day. As a college age woman, I did not feel comfortable around the weird guys who smoked outside all afternoon. Not to mention the apartment smelled like smoke and was disgusting. It was hot as h*ll in there so I’m convinced there’s no A/C. We couldn’t get any of our money back even though we were only in the apartment for one hour trying to do anything to get rid of the smoke smell. Please don’t rent from these people!!! The management is trash and the people who live in their properties are trashier.
Worst management ever I had seen . Even though we cleaned everything they charged huge amount for cleaning the apartment from our caution deposit. We have got only 92 dollors out of 400 we gave as deposit. Management is taking advantage of our caution deposit. Guys you don’t get your caution deposit back. I strongly won’t recommend the lucaya apartment as it is not clean and we can see lots of bugs everywhere.
The management is great, price is good. The property is disgusting!! Infested with roaches, and mold under the paint! I do not recommend living here I’ve had the worst experience in this environment.
The worst possible management. The AC never worked in our apartment, despite informing the management for at least 6 times. They did not fix the swimming pool for more than a year. And you are bound to live with cockroaches in the apartments. The office is never responsive on anything really.
Did not want to give me my rental deposit, very unsanitary. Very affordable but people in office very offensive conduct. Obscene noises every day while sleeping, when I filed a complaint they still blamed me and kicked me out of my first apartment. Way too many rodents and pest. Just a horrible experience for me.
SLUMLORDS!!!!!!! By far the worst place and company I'v ever experienced. In the winter the heater went out and the maintenance guy was rude, would lie about coming to fix things. No AC in the unit, wouldn't allow a portable AC. When maintenance did go in they damaged my property. They would constantly go in your apartment for spraying for bugs but the place always had bugs. Homeless guys constantly breaking windows and into my and my neighbors cars. If you want to rent from a place that hires employees to are disrespectful to your belongings and personal space and enjoy your car windows being broken this is the place for you.
Do not rent from these people. I rented from them for two years. I Finished the lease agreement, however I was not able to give them a 30 days notice to vacate. So they sued me for an early termination fee which is equal to 3 months rent. The civil judge didn't agree to it because the lease had expired at that point. They threatened to tow my car because it wasn't registered. When it's not required for a car to be registered when its parked on private property. So, I registered my car, put it back in their lot, then it gets burglarized. So they have a tow truck driver making rounds, but no security. The place was roach infested. I could go on. Bottom line. Don't support these slum lords if you are a decent person you deserve better.
These apartments are famous because of cockroaches. I also saw a lot of bedbugs there, I throw out all of my stuff and luggage when I wanted to leave there, and it cost more than 200 $ for me. The office refuse to refund the deposit. They tried to make some excuses for that. The manager are so rude, they return you letter without any responsibility.
Do not move here or to any other UNM Rentals properties. Management is extremely rude and difficult to communicate with. You're lucky if they send you the rent and utilities bill the day of, sometimes they're too lazy to post it at all. They made me pay 2 application fees, as well as denied me a parking space at the place I pay to live.
Looks decent but found out my rent is 100 dollars higher than my neighbor in the same complex with same one bedroom home. Ive been here a week and due to signs that are laying on the ground. I was unaware of a rule to park a certain direction in my own driveway. As a result they towed me to a tune of 200 dollars. I was told by management Im not allowed to know the name of the owner of the apartment in order to lodge a complaint.
