Independence Center

One of the last malls in the Kansas City area. I hope it stays open for a long time. Unfortunately most shopping is done online, but my generation still shops in stores. My kids are seeing how much better that is too. Great mall.

If you were a local here than you would know that this mall is probably convenient to get to over the Oak Park mall but as far as it needing renovation and the mall dying down as a whole then yes it definitely needs more improvement. This is a childhood mall and I will always remember it so I hope it will stay open.

It's the mall we grew up with. Still have some good stores and decent people's work here, even if the surrounding competition has made the life of this mall hard. The only reason I am giving a 4 star rating is because the pissa place is no longer here. Other than that, iv always loved this place. I'd hate for my opinion to be bias cause it's a place I've known my whole life, but it's just a good place. Lots of interesting shops, ad a good play ground for the kids.

I've always liked shopping malls. Shame that so many have failed. Anyway, the selection of stores is great, and it's easy to navigate through. So many options for parking and entry. Food court may be a little slim these days, but still some common favorites. Fantastic children play area.

The new Blue Ridge Mall, wear a bullet proof vest. This place will suffer the same demise as so many other locations... the ones not spending money, running away the ones that do.
