MSQC is just great! They are funny, yet efficient. I love that the shipping charges are reasonable and you are kept posted on "where" your stuff is in the process. I will go to this site above others because I know what I am getting, the quality, and most of all they are truly dedicated to making their part of the world the best it can be. And did I mention, they are funny! Live is often filled with challenges, a laugh truly goes a long way. They say it takes a village - and theirs is just the best!

I live on an Island off the coast of British Columbia Canada. We have many quilting and fabric stores here. I prefer MSQC. I don't know these people but I love them. They always respond quickly to e-mails, It does take over two weeks to get here, part of that time is due to postal and customs. Jenny has actually taught me to quilt. I am not afraid of little squares anymore.

I discovered Missouri Star Quilt Company on You Tube and, while its true they have great tutorial videos and a good selection of precuts, I'm better off purchasing my fabric elsewhere. It seemed like a great place to do business but I'm very disappointed with the quality of their service. My first order with them was very slow to arrive. My second and third orders were cancelled by them due to what they called a pricing error. Each day they post a Daily Deal and both times that I tried to purchased the Daily Deal they later contacted me and said they had made a mistake and could not sell the fabric at that price. In each case I had already received a confirmation email and my account had been debited for the order. Of course, I felt they should honor the price at that point, but they refused to send the order and said they would refund my money. The first time this happened I was unhappy but decided to give them a second chance. They blew it. I'm still waiting for my credit. I have lots of choices for purchasing sewing supplies. Will shop at local stores where once I've paid for an item I can actually have it!

I'm going to have to come down on the disappointed side, as well. And I really wanted to like this place, given that their selection is excellent and the website works fairly well for me. Unfortunately, my first small order to a week to even be cut and set up to ship. In this day and age, that type of lag is just unacceptable. When it did finally arrive, a portion of it was incorrect. I've e-mailed them about it, and have yet to hear back. Possibly they've just outgrown their own capacity to provide good customer service right now. However, there are so many places out there that do it better, I won't make this mistake again.

I recently visited the MSQC and I also have ordered from them by phone and in both cases had great experiences. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I was also impressed by their fabrics, more options for what I was looking for then what I have been able to find in my big, local fabric stores here in California. I will definitely be ordering from them again! Oh and their new Quilters Retreat is beautiful!
