Longer hike, wear spikes on your shoes if you go in the winter because the trail is a bit washed out and freezes over like a river. Good amount of up and down but most strenuous part is the length. Caves are really cool!

This was a nice trail for a beginner, as there weren't any particularly steep sections and the trail was easy to follow (as long as you hop over the guard rail first!). The "caves" were really just a collection of enormous boulders leaning against one another, but it was still really beautiful! Lovely things to see along the way, like various mushrooms, frogs, and flowers. Beautiful area if CT as well, with the reservoir just down the road.

Great, challenging skiing. Same goes for the mountain biking.
Also, five stars on the cool rocks, but they're not really a cave. King Philip's Cave is a real cave.

Great destination hike, about an hour in from route 318 parking. Good bouldering scampering and relaxing.
