Tiny museum but super well done. Worth more than the $6 admission fee. Staff was also super friendly. Store was well organized with plenty of different things to choose from. Parents: There is enough to keep kids, even the small fry entertained. Our 3 year old liked all the taxidermy animals, the kids room, the bees, the"lift the flap", the beavers, and the florescent minerals cave. EV drivers: No charger anywhere nearby.

I have always enjoyed this particular conservatory, especially the museum. The exhibits are well put together, and focus mostly on local wildlife and geology. The one down side? I honestly don't think they have updated their exhibits in over a decade. One of the big positives? They have two rescue birds. A red tailed hawk, and a barred owl (both have been injured and cannot survive in the wild). Overall the grounds are well kept, and there is plenty of nature and hiking to enjoy.

Excellent place to bring the family or just take awhile and unwind. Carrie and the staff are very knowledgeable and provide a great educational outreach program for local schools.

This is such a great location. It's beautiful, scenic, historic and modern all at ounce. It's beautiful inside the nature center with great interactive exhibits. It's larger than it looks inside! The gift shop had great selection of ornaments, trinkets and cute gifts. The hiking trail we tried was unique with historical significance. This place is a true gem.
