A great walking path between the canal and the Connecticut River.  Carefully maintained by volunteers.  Abundant and varied bird siteings.

Great trail for hiking and biking.  Nice walk on a paved trail along the river.  Very scenic and quiet.  Great place to take your dogs.

Lots of parking, portapotty in parking lot.  Nice scenery along the river, the trail is more than 4 miles long one way.  Lots of bike traffic here so heads up.  The asphalt trail is a bit uneven in parts.

Relaxing trail with water on both sides of you. Paved but a little bumpy. Finding it was very easy and parking was right next to the trail. There were port o potties located right next to the start of the trail.
