This is a really interesting collection of small museums, most of which have something to do with radio. The volunteers are eager to explain the exhibits and know what they're talking about. It's wonderful that a piece of this historically important army base is being preserved and we get great education in technology.

There is a wide variety of exhibits to visit here, and they're helping to preserve a neat part of history.

A very important museum about the development of radio, radar and satellite technology in the USA. Fascinating.

Amazing science museum with about 12 buildings, each dedicated to a different topic.
We visited with 9 and 11 year old kids and they were completely fascinated. We wish we had allotted 4 hours - we'll return soon.
Price is an amazing $5 per person. Hours are currently limited to Saturdays, Sundays, and Wednesdays 1-5 pm.
Our favorite exhibits were the military vehicles , vintage computers, and vintage radios. The guys running the exhibits make things interactive, such as letting the kids see early versions of punch card computer programming.
The advertised model train room was temporarily closed. Call before expecting to see trains.

Many of the high tech items we rely on today would be rendered useless without the technology that was developed here. Much of the original site is gone but enough remains to make this an interesting place to visit.
