Wonderful view from the lighthouse, and not too many stairs. Entrance to the light is free, so a good trip if you are on a budget. Grounds are well maintained. Sandy Hook is nearby, so you can add some historical military sights to your trip, or head to the beach.

Great views of Sandy Hook and NY. The exhibits are very informative on the nautical history of light house. Museum donation is requested. Parking is free.
