Intown Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine

I just recently became a new mom thanks to my 2 week old daughter. I was highly recommended, by a family member, to take her to Intown Pediatrics. We have been seeing PA Sheena White, and she’s been nothing short of wonderful. She’s friendly and kind, takes her time, and happily answers all of our questions! Additionally, filling out paperwork and scheduling appointments has been super smooth and easy! I couldn’t ask for a better experience for my family!

Our experience with Intown has been nothing less than stellar. They take us back promptly which I appreciate so much! The staff is friendly and kind, the offices are clean and we are always greeted with a smile and warm welcome. Dr. Shepherd has been wonderful to our son! He gives us so much time with his undivided attention to ask questions and always provides evidence based answers that put my husband and I at ease, especially since we are new parents. Alexis, the NP, went above and beyond to come out and meet my husband and I before our next visit to familiarize ourselves! She was energetic, warm and showed beautiful enthusiasm to meet our son. Highly recommend this practice—10/10 stars!

My son and I recently transferred to Intown back in September of 2023, so far this has been an amazing experience with all staff & clinicians. My son is 4 and was recently diagnosed with autism, all clinicians are very supportive when it comes to decision making pertaining his needs as far as referrals. I would highly recommend joining Intown Pediatrician for your children if you’re looking for a good professional staff and team who acknowledges care for your children!

Dr. Alejandro Shepard was absolutely amazing!!! I brought my two babies here for the first time for their check ups and he was so thorough and very patient and caring! You can tell that he really enjoys what he does. He carefully examined my babies and pointed out to me that my 9 month old baby had a failed circumcision which I was not aware of and other doctors missed it because they weren’t actually thoroughly examining. He also answered all of my questions about the vaccines and was super patient and informative. I was scared to get both of my children vaccinated at once because I wasn’t sure if I could handle it and console them both but he assured me that I could and he was right! It went very smoothly! My babies also loved the books that he gave them! He’s one of the best doctors! I didn’t have to wait long at all and he took his time with us, I didn’t feel rushed at all.

My daughter has been at this practice since she was a newborn. Initially I was happy with this practice. However, lately, I have decided to leave. My daughter is now 10 and I don’t feel the same level of attentiveness as before. I am constantly having to advocate for my African-American daughter. I have received several misdiagnoses and very condescending messages from certain providers. I don’t feel like my daughter’s care is at the same level when the practice was smaller. We have decided to leave. If you constantly want to advocate for your child and follow up to make sure what the providers have said is correct, please choose this practice.

I absolutely love my son's pediatrics office. Very pleasant staff, all three locations are very clean and not to mention it is very easy to make an appointment online for established patients. I am so glad that I found this pediatrician. This office by far has exceeded my expectations. I will continue to bring my children here. Thank you for your superb service. Simply amazing.

We chose Intown Pediatrics with our current foster baby because of the very positive experience we had there with our last one. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The office is clean and well run. The providers are knowledgeable and open to our concerns. They work in concert with CHOA when necessary. Instructions are clear. We recommend this practice highly!

Intown Pediatrics is amazing!! Every appointment is thorough, staff is well trained and helpful, and Dr. Sells is awesome!! I never have any issues with getting appointments wellness or sick visits. I attend the Glenwood Park location and the facilities are clean, spacious, kid friendly and welcoming!

We are so grateful to have such an amazing pediatrician's office in walking distance from our home. Dr. B, Dr. Sells, Chris, and Ali have been such good partners for over a decade with our 16, 13, and 8yo children. We've had great care and thoughtful referrals when we need them. I am especially happy with how the providers center the care on the child and encourage them to speak for themselves on their health.

We love Intown Pediatrics, especially Dr. B! Yesterday, I my 4 year old up at 5a.m. for a 6:30 appointment with him he had no other available times and I’d do it again if necessary. He’s the best! My daughter loves it here.
