Istanbul Mediterranean Restaurant

It's pretty good. I had the beef & lamb doner sandwich (gyro) with rice. The meat was piled high, but a little bit too salty. The rice was nicely flavored. I definitely got my money's worth on the meal. I got some baklava and it was superb. The hummus was pretty good also. The service was great. The saltiness of the meat is why it didn't get 5 stars.

I've been here a dozen times I've had at least 10 different entrees and most of the appetizers and never had anything that wasn't fabulous. I usually go between 11 and 1 for lunch or in the evening after 6 and never had to wait more than a few minutes to get seated even when it was super busy. The staff is always great as well.

First time diner went in tonight and received perfect service and incredible food. Heather was waitressing (I asked her name specifically because she was awesome) and had the entire place to herself that evening. Even so, she was very prompt and kind and never missed a beat. We ate lamb shiskabob hummus and baklava to go - all incredible. Best baklava I’ve ever had!

I am so glad we decided to try this place! It's amazing!!! This is the "real deal" AUTHENTIC Mediterranean food. We ordered the combo appetizer because we wanted to try different items and flavor. Roasted red pepper hummus, falfel, and something wrapped in grape leaves. Served with "taziki" sauce (except they have a different name for it). Let me tell you, it was a flavor explosion!!! Those were the best falafels I've ever eaten. Then we both ordered a combo platter because we couldn't make up our minds. Mine was lamb and chicken kabobs. He added a beef kabob on his. Our plates were overflowing. Steamed vegetables, salad, pitas, kabobs, more sauce. Everything was tender and delicious!! They do not serve alcohol, therefore making this place a "Christian family" place to eat. We will definitely return! After gorging on all the wonderful food we ordered their Turkish coffee to give us a little pep. Strong, but definitely worth the experience!
