Taco Villa

The food was cheap and a home-style version of Tex Mex, but nothing to write home about. Portions are quite large. The restaurant was in need of a good cleaning, only a few tables inside, and the lack of hairnets by the staff surrounding and making the food was unsettling. The staff was fairly rude and there was a lot of tension it seemed between them. The building could use a renovation, but the location is good and there is outside seating and ample parking for the size. Probably won't be back but glad to have tried for myself, I personally don't see what all the rave is about.

Taco Villa is the best hometown Tex Mex restaurant in Russellville. Their cheese dip is wonderful! Their salsa is a wonderfully spicey & garlicky affair that is unlike anything else I've ever tried. This place is excellent. The store is tiny with only five tables inside and four outside. The don't accept debt or credit card either, so bring cash or check for you next meal.

Called at 8:06pm for to go order. pulled in @ 8:15pm and food was not ready. Was still up on the orders to be made and nobody was making food. And they were NOT busy. Told them my name they said oh it’s not ready yet; we still got to make it. Another customer was in there waiting on there order and she called out one of the employees. She was wearing cleaning gloves, cleaning with bleach and went back and started touching trays and food. And customer asked her if she changed her gloves cause she saw what she did ( didn’t say nothing). Little bit later same customer asked her again if she changed her gloves and she did not reply (another employee replied back) I love there food but most time when they are super busy my food is ready within 10mins of me placeing my order.

I get the Bean and Cheese burrito. I don't mess with the baby/jr burrito version of any of them. Tortilla always tears hella bad and makes a huge mess. Cheese dip is great too after you add about 5-7 hot sauces. I also like to scrap in some of my burrito filling into the cheese dip if I'm the only one eating it. Even better that way.
