Went down late night and got really good food. I tried the beef stew/curry ramen with udon noodles spicy. It was really good. The meat was tender and super well flavored. I highly recommend the place for trying out. But now it needs a vegan touch to it. There must be good tasting default vegan option on the menu. Hence shaving off a star.
Good food.. Service is also quite nice.. one of my favorite around college park.. One should try their dry hot pot.. It's delicious
Dried hot pot was great! Remineds me of china mainland food. It is not totally like americanized chinese food. It has its own chinese style.
Beef Chow Fun was on point, nice wide noodles, not overcooked and great seasoning. The Scallion Pancakes were delicious as well, nice crisp exterior and soft chewy interior. The batter on the Shrimp with Salt and Pepper was too thick and also became very soggy after it was sealed in a plastic container as a to go order. Maybe using a paper box would have helped.
The best bowl of ramen I’ve had in the DC area was here. I visit normally for lunch, and the service has always been great. Great deal for the price. Most authentic bowl of beef noodle soup that I’ve had on this side of the world. It transported me to my time spent in China. I highly recommend this place!
The food was alright but the service was pretty good and it was a comfortable place to sit in and eat at. I enjoyed my bubble tea however my friends had pretty much all ice and no product so i felt bad since it was his first experience. I had ordered the chicken pad thai and jasmine black tea bubble tea.
Chicken Malaysia style is one of my favorite dishes of all time. It has been in regular rotation -- sometimes weekly for months on end -- for what seems like at least a decade. The hot pot and ramen are also very good.
Any food there is really traditional. Their food is a little bit salty but they are happy to put less salt in the food when you tell them. Roast Duck ramen is given with plenty of meat and it’s tasty, but if you want to try some real spicy dish, try the dry hot pot!! Dry hot pots are my favorite!! This place is def my go to place!!
My search for good scallion pancakes led me to Ivy Noodles, and I was not disappointed. This is not Americanized carryout food, and for that I am thankful. The food is FRESH and delicious, and I have always received excellent customer service.
We loved eating here when I worked at University of Maryland. But it's worth the drive from Howard County. They haven't reopened their dining area as yet, so it's currently only take out.
