Jack Stack Barbecue - Freight House

Their food and the service was great. I'm from Iowa and I would definitely come back just to eat here again. The fries you see is a $4 side of fries and I wasn't expecting it tk be that much. The pasta is a brisket Mac and cheese and it was absolutely delicious.

Visiting from out of state and stopped in for lunch upon recommendation. The BBQ was wonderful. We had the Hatfield and The Big Pig. Each was delicious in its own right. Seasoned fries was good. Lemonade was fresh. Highly recommend when downtown in KC.

The reviews are accurate.. great BBQ especially the burnt ends and lamb ribs. I tried the pork rib too and it's real bbq with a beautiful building, kind of like a church without the stained glass. Lots of outdoor seating. The meat isn't as tender as some other places I've attended. Good selection of craft beer.

Good BBQ, great service friendly staff. Little bit on the $$$ side, very nice restaurant inside and out. Carrot cake was amazing!!

As always, Jack Stack doesn’t let us down. Delicious food and courteous staff. Their to-go orders are typically on time and a very efficient process. This was our first time visiting their Freight House location, and we enjoyed it. Never had a bad meal at Jack Stack. Incredibly good barbecue; what else is their to say?

I hadn't had KC BBQ in a long time so I decided to check out Jack Stack's. The place was packed....what pandemic?! They have a good selection of beers and the menu is pretty big. The burnt ends were fantastic. Also, the cheesy corn was solid. All in all, it was a great experience...highly recommended!
