Jacksonville Station

Recently took Amtrak to NYC, Dec 2017 out of Jacksonville. Station undergoing renovation with outside trailer for bathrooms, which was awful. Parking is free and fine. Train delayed 5 hrs due to accident, which seems to happen a lot. Once renovations done, maybe station will be better to wait in. No surrounding restaurants as it’s in remote area. Only snack machines in station.

One of the worst trips I have ever taken. Taking train 98 to Penn station in NYC from jacksonville fl. Stopped one time for a cigarette. The staff was very rude and didnt allow us to step off to smoke. This is a 20 hr ride. Suprised someone doesnt get hurt. Never again.

Joseph is the most professional of the staff. He reassured all passengers that a delay passenger's would be taken care ifo, he also has a great sense of humor, that kept us relaxed and confident about amtraks services on train 98 MIA TO WIL

As a guy who flys twice a week this was a first time train Trip. The station is small and simple but it was easy to park, check bags and hop on. Staff was friendly and answered all our questions. But a little off topic. Trump and the repbulican party is trying to kill long distance Amtrak train service. Given the cost savings from train vs plane, I think me know which lobby is behind this. Call your senator!
