After calling dermatology offices all over Albuquerque off and on for months, after recently moving from Colorado I was pleasantly surprised to be able to get in to her office the very same day! I was very impressed that that she readily took Tricare Prime, has excellent good front and back office staff, has a nice modern clean office in northeast Albuquerque called Epiphany Dermatology, and was very professional. She checked four skin lesions, shave biopsied one, froze two, and set me up with a follow up appointment, all in a matter of minutes. She is very good, gets right down to business, and quickly answered all my questions. As a health care provider myself, I consider myself lucky to have found her, and I will recommend her every chance I get. I am glad I chose to ignore negative reviews on Healthgrades.

I was referred to Epiphany by my primary care doctor. I have a bump on my chest that my primary care doctor was concerned about and thought it was a type of skin cancer. I had basal cell cancer over 5 yrs ago, and so I have a history with cancer. Dr. Moranz barely glanced at the bump and then decided it was a wart and grabbed her freeze can. I told her my primary care doc thought it was cancer. She dismissed/ignored my comments and questions. She said the bump should fall off in 4 weeks, and if not to call back. I felt like I was at Jiffy Lube and they were rushing me out to get the next customer in. Don't go to her if you want to have a thorough exam and conversation regarding your questions and concerns. It was awful. If this thing doesn't fall off, I'm going to fight paying another copay since the job wasn't done right the first time.

Abrupt, impatient, not at all thorough, more interested in selling over-priced products than in giving care to her patient. I have a history of skin cancer. I have never been so unimpressed with a doctor in my life. She supposedly gave me a full body exam, yet could not have spent more than 45 seconds on my front and the same on my back. I told her of several spots that concerned me and she ignored them. She declared they were ok without even looking at them. Since I've had cancer spots removed several times, I do know what to look for, but she refused to even look. Now, I have to go through the process of a referral again and wait to see another doctor all because this woman would not do her job. On top of all that, they had me change in a room with a full wall of uncovered windows that made the room visible to anyone sitting in the office. No privacy at all. I would give a no star review if I could.

This Doctor lacks compassion, empathy, is rude and not consultative. She appears to be very angry. I wasn't sure if this was aimed at me, or her general behavior. She did not follow up on the prescription she defined - 24 hours later. This is the first time I have ever complained about any Doctor, She should not be practicing. I have just read the other reviews and see that I am not alone with my negative remarks. The leadership at Epiphany Dermatology needs to evaluate this issue, as it affects your corporate reputation.

I have both good and bad things to say about this practice, unfortunately all the good things are about the front office staff and all the bad things are about the doctor herself. The front office staff was fantastic! The administrator remembered me from when I made my appointment weeks ago and was very friendly yet professional. I wasn't as pleased with the doctor. While she was very thorough she was also very forward and abrupt bordering on rude at times. She made suggestions about certain services and products I should try after I clearly indicated no interest on the pre-appointment paperwork. I was not impressed and after my follow up in two weeks will not be returning. There are other dermatologists in Albuquerque that will be just as happy to take my money and will provide better treatment at the same time.

BEWARE! I went to this "Dermatologist" for wart removal for my daughter and myself and she did a full body exam on me to check for potential skin cancer. First of all, she applied salicylic acid to my daughter's wart and then taped it with scotch tape, literally. This caused burns on her skin. Then she removed 3 moles from my body and cauterized them leaving huge holes and scars that have NEVER healed. I wished I had NEVER went to her. She was rude and not close to being a doctor at all. I believe she was more interested in the cost of the unnecessary mole removal than my health. Find treatment elsewhere!!

When I go to the doctor I want them to be kind, caring and compassionate, not to mention professional, that was not my experience. The doctor was dismissive, unsympathetic, and even arrogant. More like overpriced “drug dealer” considering I was given a very expensive prescription and wasn’t educated about other products or the specific reason behind the one she chose. Would not recommend. Only positive was the in and out time, and if the prescription works, fingers crossed.

Dr. Moranz is a very caring and professional dermatologist. She was very informative and highly skilled. She removed a mole for me and before I knew it, she was done. I highly recommend her for your skin care needs!

She’s more interested in selling you her pyramid scheme health products. Run, run far away! Horrible experience!

Very good experience. Didn't wait long, amd Dr. Moranz was very professional and quick with my procedure. I highly recommend her.
