My experience at Jerome's has been awesome. They have a genuine staff that really care about you and your situation. They are committed to doing things right the first time. They are very easy to work with and they make you feel like you are their priority. I will always do work with them. I would never go anywhere else, and I will always recommend them.

After coming back to have the hood put on straight, the paint bubbled and came off after the rain. Ridiculous. I was so upset, I just went somewhere else.

Jerome's has a great reputation in Minot and when I had to file a claim through USAA they were my first option, but I learned their priority is only for the customer when it is in their own best interest. At first glance they struck me as an earnest, trustworthy company who's word of mouth credibility proceeded them. I took my vehicle in for an initial evaluation and explained it was for a 3-car accident that had occurred the month prior on the highway in Denver before I moved to Minot and transported my vehicle here on a trailer. I let them know the extent of the damage that had occurred and that although it could be driven, I had not been using the vehicle since it had been driving and handling significantly different after the accident I suspected damage not visible or verifiable to a layperson via an eye inspection. After walking along the vehicle with the inspector they confirmed visible damages and that there could be unseen things as well. They completed the inspection write up and handed me a hard copy that was to be submitted to my insurance company. The copy I was given comprehensively included everything related to the accident that was supposed to be covered and I was told I would likely have to work with my insurance company to have the full repairs authorized because their initial disposition was only to cover damage to the point of impact at the front bumper. The representative at Jeromes told me they would submit their inspection for comprehensive repairs of all damage. A short time later, USAA contacted me and let me know the claim evaluation was submitted and approved, but when I looked at the authorized work it was less than 25% of what was on the copy of the inspection write-up that I received. I figured this was what had been mentioned to be about their disposition to only repair the point of impact. I worked back and forth with USAA and finally found out that a modified version of the initial inspection only listing damage to the front bumper had been submitted to USAA. When I asked USAA about it, they told me that was the only thing Jeromes completed. When I asked Jeromes they told me USAA instructed them to submit a modified claim. USAA vehemently denied this and when I next reached out to Jerome's it was clear there was a general lack of integrity and level of dishonesty occurring at my expense. It appeared Jeromes was complying with USAA's request to minimize the cost of the claim and not jeopardize their standing as a preferred and authorized shop for USAA. After calling them out on it and questioning the entire situation I was instructed by the representative at Jerome's that they couldn't work with me any further and that I had to handle it with USAA. I ultimately ended up moving my vehicle to John's Auto Body who not only advocated on my behalf with USAA but submitted and authorized a supplemental damage claim to comprehensively cover all damage since Jerome's submitted initial inspection submission had been modified and limited to only what USAA directed. They also covered my deductible. At the end of the day it is apparent that Jerome's values their customers as long as it is to their benefit and won't impact their opportunity to maximize their own business as a preferred shop for insurance company. Jerome's cost me hours of my time in not only resolving the claim with my insurance company but also in being out of a vehicle for upwards of two months. They ultimately displayed a lack of integrity, questionable business practices and that the customer is only a priority when it doesn't compete with their own interests or insurance companies. I would recommend John' Auto Body 100% over Jeromes and would advise you to think twice about using their services at all.
