Zoey does not know how to do her job properly. Called in for a order she didn’t ask my name. I had to give it to her myself didn’t ask for a number. Then after I drove 15 min. I get there and she doesn’t have my order ready due to her not properly doing her job. Then manager Jessica with no teeth And rotten mouth spitting while talking and cutting meat. Talk about disgusting. Would never recommend to anyone. Driving a little further to the next jersey mikes is your best option to get quality service and clean food.
Food is universal with other JM's. This location never accepts Jersey Mike's coupons like other metro locations. All the employees are great here except the older grumpy guy who is always manning the register. I've been during the lunch hour and the employees all seem stressed when this older guy is back there with them. Later in the evenings when he's not there, the employees are way more friendly and extremely welcoming making a very happy experience. Owner should think about going in on advertising/coupons with the other area franchisees. It's just not a very welcoming location for some reason.
I come to this place every once in awhile because it's close to my job. The food is decent most of the time but the owner is not friendly to his employees and has Fox news blasting from both televisions 24/7. Could be a prime location but it's always empty. He acts funny about coupons as well. I only come to this place if I literally have no other way to get lunch.
Food here is great and customer service usually great as well. Just one odd incident that I can't seem to understand. I left my phone in restroom one evening. I came back next day and was informed by manager it was found physically inside toilet so therefore had to be thrown away. I was confused how it ended up in that location and little upset at how rude the manager was about the entire incident. Anyways, so I go buy new phone and get on with life. Next day my ICE contact gets phone call from AT&T store employee saying someone from jersey mikes dropped my phone off at the store. Obviously I didn't understand how my phone went from water damaged and in the dumpster to working perfectly so I called jersey mikes to see what happened and the same incredibly rude manager said "he already told me everything he could and that I was weirding him out and my phone number was going to police" this was only second time I had talked to him, the first being the initial time I went in. All i wanted to know was how my phone ended up not being in the disgusting condition he so rudely told me about the first time which made me feel need to buy new phone. But this manager wouldn't let me finish my story of how an employee from his jersey mikes tuned in my perfectly well working phone. Great sandwiches though.
So I read some other reviews before submitting this. The older grumpy man is the owner, he made that clear to me when I also tried to use the coupon the poor staff I'm sure is treated worst than us few patrons that stumble into this location because we know Jersey Mike's is typically quality. I decided to take the high road and still order even after the owner literally griped me out about his food costs as being the reason he wasn't "giving any food away" and they gave me bread that I wouldn't feed the ducks at a pond it was completely dried out and stale. I was bringing my son lunch at school and so I delivered his sandwich before opening mine and after school he told me his $16 sandwich was so gross he just threw it away and went without lunch. I have never written a bad review but the franchising needs to be stripped from this owner.
Very first time ever ordering from jersey mikes. They were closing soon so I was trying my hardest to order quickly. I am unfamiliar with their menu, obviously. I had a friend get me a wrap from there not too long ago and I was trying to order the same thing. It was a hot wrap. When I ordered my food they made me pay before it was even close to being done. The ONLY things that were on my wrap were cheese and a few green onions when I realized it was not going to be cooked. That’s when I brought it to their attention that I was expecting cooked. They told me that I needed to let them know that before hand. There isn’t even a cold veggie wrap on the menu. So disappointed.
On January 27th at 3:30 we were served by Sarah and she was super nice! Also my food was tasty. They said it had been super busy but the lobby and bathrooms where still clean so obviously even in the down time they're working hard. Nice people and I enjoyed my 30 or so mins there.
I have been a regular customer until this past March, with Covid etc. I went in today and was met by a surly woman. The three people working there did not have masks on. It made me extremely uncomfortable, but I ordered my sandwich anyway. The young woman handling money and helping with the sandwiches had the same pair of plastic gloves on. I regret not turning around and leaving. I know people think it’s their right to wear or not wear a mask, but the food service industry needs to wear them.
Typically, I love jersey mike’s, so I happened to stop by this one last Sunday, March 17, 2019. I ordered a big kahuna and a no. 7. The female employee took my order and had another employee start making the big kahuna. Then the female employee turned on the slicer, but hadn’t started slicing the turkey, when another previously served customer pointed out that the fountain drink dispenser drip pan was overflowing onto the floor. As such, the female employee grabbed a pitcher, walked over to the fountain drink dispenser, stuck her hand into the drip pan multiple inches deep, while wearing her food prep gloves, and proceeded to slosh fountain drink refuse into the pitcher and all over the floor - while wearing her food prep gloves. Then she told another employee to take care of it and walked directly to the fridge next to the slicer, picked up a big ball of turkey wearing the same gloves she wore while splooshing nasty soda drippings everywhere! and started to slice the turkey! I said, “shouldn’t you have washed you hands first?” She said “probably” and kept slicing. I said, “thanks, but I’m good” and walked out. Gross. I won’t be going back to that Jersey Mike’s until I’m reassured that will never happen again, but the cat’s kinda out of the bag. Stinks because I liked Jersey Mike’s.
Called in and ordered the Big Kahuna, They said they don't take phone orders. That's Ok, i was just trying to save some time. Drove to the sub shop, a few people were inline ahead oh me, The cook took my order so i just sit at the first table, The other people got their orders, I went to pay for mine and was told they don't have any beef. no beef? I left Passing the people in their car who just got their order, I heard the guy say, my bread is dry. I am somewhat confused how could a sub shop not have any beef. Better still how could both employees not know they did not have any?.... I like Jersey Mike's, I'm not mad, just wasted my time. After reading other reviews I think this Jersey Mike's may have some underlying problems.
