All Varvatos stores are unique with their own vibe. This one is more polished. It's my least favorite look of the Manhattan Varvatos stores but it's my favorite to visit because of the staff. They go the extra mile.

Personnel were courteous and gave general information regarding maintenance of items. The selection of shoes is narrow but most are well made and generous with leather thickness. The store actually has a generous sale discounts section for a high end store.

"Jacket required ". Today, at John varvatos, I discovered what I've been looking for: originality beyond just widening, narrowing, lengthing or shortening part of "Jacket", usually with outrageously expensive or very cheap fabrics. Creative, clever, stylish. Acceptible and not bizarre. End of 60 year search.
