Jonestown / Hershey NE KOA Journey

As a local I stop in everyday twice a day. Prices are great and food is amazing. Must try Ribs and wings. Staff is always friendly and campground and store are always clean and maintained.

We stayed in the Creekside cabin for the weekend visiting the area. It was a cute little cabin and they utilize the space well inside. You have a bed, bunkbeds, a corner breakfast nook, mini fridge, microwave and small tv. The WiFi signal is weaker the farther away from the front you are. The view was nice but the constant traffic on the bridge reminded you that you weren't far from the highway. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the site next to us was a bit close and dogs are not permitted in the cabin. We would have loved to have our dogs and utilized the dog park. Great trails on site. Fishing, kayaking and good variety of products/hot foods in the store. Various activities for kids. Bathrooms/Showers were clean. Bring your own linens. All and all it was a nice place.

We have been here a few times, the staff is great, facilities are well kept and it's reasonably close to a number of fun places.

Booked a cabin for 4 days, overpriced for what it is have to use community showers and bathroom bring your own bedding and have a door and windows that doesent seal to let bugs in also apparently they dont clean all that well as the garbage was not empty and for a place that doesent do maid service a few extra garbage bags in the can makes sence unless you want garbage everywher, spent good deal of money in the store and was tollerable of the prices given the region the last agrivation of the stay was being in the store buying some items and wanted ice cream but was told had to go to the outside window and ring the bell, did that and waited while waiting another individual came up and was waiting he decided to go inside and was given his ice cream cone from the same lady that told me to go outside for apparently no reason other than having no aperent applitude concerning rational bussines etiquette, given the fact that there was no one else waiting for service would have been ill meet you at the window right away but not here Will not spend a penny here ever again given the unprofessional unclean and overpriced nature of this campground. Also this pic is $6.39 worth of wood, bring your own or better yet go elsewhere to have a relaxed weekend.
