The service was above and beyond. The woman who took our order had a heavy oriental accent and was a bit difficult for me to understand however she didn’t mind repeating herself. The food was delivered in under 15 minutes and the coconut Smoothie is what I would recommend. Very quaint for lunch hour and nice
Little mom and pop place very good .had the kung pao chicken. It had a lot of chicken in it. Lunch special was $7.50 with a bowl of soup.
We ended up here because our other regulars were closing soon. I am glad we tried it! We ordered the family "box" 4 entries 3 sides and eggrolls and although it is not a buffet style takeout, it came out hot and fresh within 10 minutes! The employees were very nice and even substituted our sides. It was a little more expensive than other Chinese takeout places but in my opinion it was worth it. Very filling!
It's no longer Joy Cuisine, It's Viet Con, and the number is not correct. I have it three starts because I wanted to call in my order instead of ordering my food on site, but that's first world problems, and it was made quickly. I got the combination fried rice with only two shrimps. Lol!! But overall it still tasted awesome!!
Been here about 5 times. It's one of the few places that offers "Twice cooked pork", a favorite. Their hot and sour soup is decent, sping rolls acceptable, but the fried rice is bland or weird and the meats are way over cooked. The facility is shabby and depressing and despite the friendly service, I will not return.
Food lacks substance and flavor. Sauces taste off. Skimpy on meat in every dish, heavy on batter or veggies, mostly celery and onions. Sesame chicken is simply sweet and sour with sesame seeds on top. Sad if this is what passes for sesame chicken here. Delivery was quick, even though they are only 15 minutes and I was told I was out of delivery zone and would have to order 30 bucks worth of food for them to deliver to me plus an additional delivery fee of $5.50 a dollar a mile.
Delicious, fresh cooked food. They delivery quickly and the food is still hot. I love that they offer delicious traditional style dishes. I lived in China for six months, now I am so picky. This is the only Chinese place in ABQ I returned to, and now the only one I order from. They are extremely fair priced for the quality and quantity of food you get.
Great food each time! We have tried almost everything on the menu and they never disappoint. Best Chinese in town! Plus totally quirky authentic Chinese restaurant atmosphere, very happy and kind family. Also, great service and reasonable prices!
Food was delicious! Staff is very friendly, got the vibe they mostly do delivery as they were cooking the whole time but we were the only people in there. But either way, I really enjoyed it! Great food for a good price
I have ordered from joy cuisine for about 7 years off and on. The food is excellent and that has never changed. What has changed however is their delivery times. I used to be able to order and have the food in my hands within 30 minutes, sometimes sooner. That has declined significantly. The last 5 times I have ordered, it has taken longer than an hour to get my order. I am right now waiting for my current order, and I've been waiting an hour and a half. Beyond excusable.
