Joyheart Cafe

Joyheart Cafe is a terrific Taiwanese vegan / vegetarian spot. We got the braised tofu with rice, vegetarian eel with rice, and a pot of Assam tea. Everything was fantastic - healthy, flavorful, not too much spice, and super delicious. The ambience and service was solid too, a great spot for lunch. It's a shame they're not open for dinner. Check out the grocery store inside as well, lots of goodies.

Such an underrated chill spot for vegetarian food! I came here on a Wednesday at noon and it was only a little busy--parking wasn't difficult. Ordered the vegetarian eel w/ rice plate and it was delicious! Love the cozy and clean ambience of this place as well.

My mom and I came here for their vegetarian menu since she does eat meat, chives, onion, and garlic. The place is in the back of the plaza when you first turn in off the road; I wish there were signs, but we found it by driving around, whew. There’s a good amount of parking. The inside is half grocery store and half cafe. We walked around to check out the items then asked to get seated. I got the rainbow noodles — noodles topped with vegetarian “minced pork”, purple cabbage, carrots, egg, and cucumber. The flavor was so good! Mom for the vegetarian braised “eel” pot rice. The rice was a bit too soft and wet and the dish could have used more flavor. The braised fake eel was a mind trip! It looks pretty real and the texture is great. I’ll be back for more. The meals aren’t too pricey either at $~12 for the individual entrees.

This is such a cute place! I felt like I was back in Taiwan : I had the curry rice, which was good and quite filling. I really enjoyed how my meal was set up.

Environment is good. Very Taiwanese vegan restaurant. Their noodle soup is highly recommand. Need to wait longer if business is good. They offer free dessert for first 20 customers or free milk tea.

Joyheart cafe is the best vegetarian food I tried so far, this place is quiet and clean , definitely will come again

Cute restaurant located in the Heartland Organic & Natural Foods store. Food tasted amazing, crispy fresh and made to order. Generous portions. Highly recommended.
