Before the review I took these pics with my busted cellphone camera not my real equipment. Now that that’s out the way. Not only does this place have amazing and authentic food for a very reasonable price , but they have a large menu AND they feed the homeless. I would personally recommend going out of your way if you had to to come support this restaurant. Awesome staff great food and a true passion to help out others. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Love the chicken Here also really enjoyed the lamb chops I’ve had multiple dishes and never left without feeling food and delighted with the dishes and the service. This place earned every bit of their 5 star review.
The food came out quickly and it’s a nice comfy restaurant- easy to stop at during your lunch break. I ordered a shawarma platter and the meat wasn’t the traditional shaved shawarma meat I was expecting. It was thick pieces of beef or lamb and kind of chewy in consistency. The flavor and sauces were good though.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, well spiced and high quality dishes, casual atmosphere and it’s a good value too. But what really impressed me is the fact that they claim to offer people free food if they can’t afford a meal. What other restaurant cares that much? I will be back, and yes I’ll be a paying customer again too.
This place has very good food! Delicious! I got the spicy chicken boti kabob, hummus and soup. The soup was yummy. I had never tried khatti daal before. The guy at the register was very helpful as this was my first time eating this type of food or at this restaurant. The inside of the restaurant has inspirational quotes and decor and I loved that too! I will definitely be back. You get so much food for 11 bucks. Posted picture. Filling.
Kabob Korner offers some great Mediterranean dishes at reasonable prices. I had the Tandoori chicken and my friend had the gyro platter. Very tasty food, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Looking forward to going again with my coworkers.
This place is a fusion of Asian and Mediterranean dishes. My wife and I have been here about 4 times already and they have not disappointed us in any of the visits we've been there. This time around I got the gyro platter with a side of basmati rice, naan, and hummus. That aromatic taste of the basmati rice paired with the perfectly spiced gyro meat is very good. Then there's hummus paired with the naan. The hummus has a subtle nutty creamy flavor to it and goes well with naan. The only thing I'd like to suggest maybe is more of the hummus because I always end up with naan left over, but it might be because I take more of the hummus than necessary... Lol. My wife got the beef shawarma. She's made that her staple when we go there, and she likes that too. Overall we spent about $20 without tip. I think the quality of the food and the amount is worth it. Would definitely recommend.
I try not to review places I ordered delivery from but wanted to let people know not to order door dash etc.from here. The wrap was soggy and the fries were undercooked/stale. Worst part was I paid extra for more sauce but it came in tiny dime-sized containers. You're probably better off dining in UPDATE: Forgot I reviewed this place but I'll say it was a better experience this time. The naan was only $1 extra but they gave a large portion. The manager was also nice enough to give me the ginger lemonade as part of my drink even though it costs more. The place itself is tiny so I still recommend takeout
Hands down the BEST Mediterranean food in Houston! Their customer service is above and beyond! The food has always been so fresh and juicy and you can taste the passion in their dishes! Get the Lamb chops or shawarma sandwich!
Ordered Shish Kabob with Tabbouleh and Hummus for $12.95. Very small pieces of meat. Taste 3/10. Tenderness 2/10. Mango Lassi was pretty good. They took 5 mins to prepare my food. Didn’t worth $18.50. Left still hungry. Conclusion, definitely not coming back.
This is the first time that I go to this restaurant and I’m in shock, this food tastes amazing, get the chicken boti with naan, basmati rice, and hummus, YUM! Prices are good for the quality of the food
