Kabuki Restaurant & Sushi Bar

For one Tuna is not supposed to be bright pink. Kabuki used to be a good place to get good fresh fish. I tried it after about six months to give them a try again but was still disappointed. When I get CO infused or dyed tuna that looks bright pink and is offered as fresh tuna that is just not right. So why did I give them 2 stars is because the service (waiter/waitress) is good and not to blame. It was bad that the rice on the nigiri also turned pink. Not a happy customer. Update (April 2018): So it has been a while since I visited the place - thought I would give them another chance. I have to say that I noticed changes. Things were better since my last visit. But I am going to visit again just in case before I provide an updated review

Food is amazing here!! Not sure about not waiting for a seat, I've waited multiple time to be seated. Every time it's been worth it though. It just depends on the time of day you go. Their dinner time is pretty much always busy (THAT'S FOR A REASON). Service has been great every time we have been there too. Place is a little small, but even the people dinning are great company to if you come alone. A++ #LetsGuide

Outside of the business is deceptive. Inside was nice. Got the spicy pork box. Wife had the sushi. Food was super tasty. A lot of variety, was warm but not overly hot. Staff was friendly, and a nice selection of food options. Felt like a good value for the price.

I get sushi from here often, and it's consistently really good sushi. I always feel like the size of the rolls is bigger than the other local places so it's more filling and I feel like I get more for my money. My only negative would be that it's so small inside I always feel kind of awkward in there. Nowhere for the wait staff to hide really so you feel like they're just kind of watching you waiting for you to need something. I just get takeout now.

Kabul is amazing. Been here 20 to 30 time over the past 5 years. Mainly for sushi, but the Korean food is also amazing. Our favorite sushi rolls are hot sex, ninja, mafia, and tuna mania. Buckeye and Centerville are also really good. Both the soups that come with are really good. My favorite is the spicy(think of a Korean vegtable and cabbage based soup), my wife loves the miso. If you are stopping by for lunch go with the bingo box. The Korean bbq and spicy pork are really good. Service is always GREAT. Atmosphere is cool too.
