You should definitely adopt from here. Just don't always trust what they tell you about your animal. Make your own judgement calls. That being said I have a very lovey new baby. If she isn't what I expected her to be. And they have been rather helpful after the fact too.

I helped my roommate pick out her dog here a few years ago and she proved to be such a loving addition to our household. Now that they moved out we are going again to get another dog for myself and I can't wait. Always helpful and caring staff. I highly recommend.

We adopted our dog from here. The people are friendly and accomiating and the pets are well cared for. They helped us understand which kind of dog would work well with our family. Now we have a great pup.

I like this place a lot!! We can't get our humane society to help stray cats but here at KHS,they will give them the opportunity to be adopted if nothing else. Just won't turn you away. Not the strays fault. Get with the program people!! Don't get an animal if you can't put the money or work. I'm tired of crying when I have to leave a dear animal cause some of you have your heads up the rest. If you can't deal with the Life time commitment step aside....
