Kenton Club

#1 North Portland bar now has the best dinner in Kenton!! What a combo, cool dive bar with great live music, pool table, giant patio… AND great food brought to your table by the chef himself. Kenton club has been the go-to for a long time, check the cool woodwork from the 40s. Heads up- the chef is there Wednesday thru Sunday and he’s tipped separately from the bar so if you like the food, consider having a cash tip on hand.

Fried are on point. Sometimes they have CBD drinks. Good spot for live music. Great atmosphere & the patio is amazing.Food: 4/5

UPDATE- to showcase the masterpiece avocado toast available for weekend brunch - you can add bacon and there’s a bunch of other tasty options. If you can’t make brunch be sure to check out the Brussels sprouts- they are out of this world!!! Excellent spot. Fun shows and events. Great movies playing on the TV by the bar. Big back area that is partially covered/heated. Pet friendly.

Dude that bartends Sundays mornings is always extremely kind. Stumbled in and caught brunch. Definitely the best omelette I’ve had in a very long time. Plus fun shows.

The out door area is nice. shrubs and trees to keep you company. Very borning and limited food menu. Not a big beer selection. The atmosphere is great. I like the paintings on the outside of the building. Bathroom was almost unbearable to even walk into becouse of the smell. The outdoor coverd huts are nice and heated.

They have a huge patio! Closer to the bar are tons of tables closer together. Farther out from the building, there are spread out covered tables. They feel like personal booths, real cozy and perfect for dates. I don't drink alcohol anymore and they have a ton of non-alcoholic choices! After going to lots more bars with lousy N/A options, this is at the top of my list for N/A hang outs and meets. I got an order of fries, as far as bar fries go, they were pretty good. I'd come back and get them again. Customer service was rad too. Lost a star on atmosphere, solely on an isolated experience where I terribly unfortunately overheard some gross dudes loudly having a disgusting conversation. Not really the bar's fault, I was able to move to a diff table, it was just yuck.

Kenton Club is great! Great corn dogs, cheap drinks, but be careful of Isaac. I asked for a drink with grape juice, but he said he was out and asked me to follow him to the back room to check for more juice. I’m now paying child support and behind on rent, but his beard is very soft. Ten out of ten!Food: 5/5

Came by on a saturday morning for brunch. There were spooky movies playing on the Tv and a fun halloween ambiance, the thing that stole the show was the food though, had the savory pancake and it was bigger than the plate with 3 meats i could only eat about half before getting full. I brought some home to my family and ended up eating more.. the chicken strips are also popping there was this delicious spicy tangy bbq sauce that i just about drank. I think the mac n cheese is definitely also a must have, Chef knocked it out of the park for sure.
