The ladies here are helpful, the products are amazing and the free samples with your purchase are so fun.
I went in after a rough day and the staff were just great! Im still trying everything, but had a good experience. I left with the best products for my skin because staff listened and were informed. And so many fun samples. The foot cream is already making me feel the softness return to my feet. My only woe, which is corporate production issues and not the store and staff was that the bag broke on both sides and had come open during walk to car so some valuable items were lost unawares. I'd gladly visit again. Just great product and staff.
I wish I had known Kiehl's censors and blocks negative reviews on their website before buying any of their products [Side note, Kiehl's has a D- rating with the Better Business Bureau, so that explains a lot]. They post a select few negative reviews so it doesn't seem suspicious, but they actively censor and filter out negative reviews of their products to make people think they're quality. I bought a bottle of their Magic Elixir scalp treatment, and not only did it not help with a thin patch on my scalp, it actually seemed to worsen hair loss. I used the elixir as directed and left it on for at least 20 minutes each time, and whenever I used it on my scalp I would see three times the normal amount of hair strands on my hands in the shower when I washed it out. The times when I didn't use the elixir before getting in the shower there would only be a couple hair strands during the shower, which is what it should be. The ingredient label on the bottle uses microscopic printing so it's impossible to read; and the ingredient list is much longer than what's claimed on the Kiehl's website product page it looks like there are a bunch of chemicals in it. The elixir was basically like rubbing vegetable oil on your scalp. Not only was I disappointed with the product, but I was disappointed with Kiehl's as a company. A couple of hours after I bought the elixir I saw that Kiehl's changed it to 25% off on their website. I immediately emailed them about the price cut, and they just ignored me until I sent a second email 14 days later. Their response was basically "oh well, sucks that you overpaid." Any respectable company would've done a price adjustment, or at the very least offered me 25% off a bottle of the elixir in the future to keep me as a customer. Nope, Kiehl's doesn't care about its customers.
Shay and all of the staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and very diligent when it comes to meeting the customer's needs. I have very sensitive skin. The first time I went to the store, I was sent home with many samples to try. I tried the samples, and fell in love with the products. I have only been in the store three times. I enjoy the convenience's of ordered over the phone, and of course the free shipping. My packages arrive quickly and are always packed with many samples to try. Thank you Kiehl's for your excellent customer service and for making me feel like a valued customer!
Very pretentious sale assistants who made empty promises and were rude to me. I will dump Kiehl’s products from now on. Maybe I will try ‘Drunk Elephant’ that’s available in Sephora. I was told that it is a better skin care product than Kiehl’s. Here’s why: I’m a tourist. I bought almost $700/- worth of Kiehl’s products in Boston MA last week. I realized I was short of a hydrating mask and a day eye cream. So when I arrived here in Portland few days ago, I went to this store 6/17/2018 Sunday to get these items but ended being persuaded and bought another $175/- worth of Kiehl’s products. I wasn’t given the promotional gift with my purchases. When I called later about the gift, the assistant on the phone told me to come back for it. When I realized it was only a tiny 3ml tube of Eye Fuel for man, I didn’t want to make the trip back to get it. However, this assistant told me she would definitely reserve a travel size bottle of toner for me to pick up after I had told her that was what I really needed. I came back to the store few hours later to pick up the toner as promised. The assistant I spoke to on the phone didn’t want to come out from the back room to attend to me even when I requested for her. Instead, the manager attended to me and insisted that there wasn’t any travel size toner unless I pay for it, while another assistant next to her rolled her eyes on me and ridiculed me with sharp laughter when I left the store. That’s it. No more Kiehl’s.
Great service. I called the store, they took the order on the phone and then rushed out to hand me the product as I had my kids sleeping on the car and could not find parking!
This store is a lifesaver. The staff is always super helpful and knowledgeable. I've not received a bad product recommendation once in the year since I've started shopping here.
This is an excellent shop, every time I go here everyone is so helpful and friendly. I enjoy the produce, the ease of ordering online, then being able to pickup my items in store is great.
Great place. Location can be tough if you are driving. This part of Portland has very limited parking. My only complaint is that Kiehl's has not introduced a new soap in at least a few years. Come on guys!
Amazing customer Service! Renea went above and beyond and so kind and nice, it’s very rare you see that in stores nowadays
