Love this place to just go and relax. Don't mind driving from the city to it at all...just wish they had a recorder to say if and when it is open..driven over there a few times and it was closed..that upset me some. It never seems to be open anymore.

The pool is kind of old, but they have a water slide and a diving board. The Lifeguards are awesome. We didn't know their hours and showed up like an hour before close, and they let us in free. My kids had a blast, and it wasn't crowded like the larger pools in the area.

This is a really run down 1970's pool. The REAL interest story here however is the staff. The reject lifeguards are assigned to this pool and their attitude shows it. Lifeguards here are extremely unprofessional and openly have disdain for anyone who isn't a family member or high school cohort. We have witnessed lifeguards entering into screaming matches with 7 yr old childeren, leaving their post and demonstrating power trips to entertain their friends. I suggest going to mustang or Bethany's water parks instead. They are professional, clean even have friendly atmosphere and updated non cracking concrete.
