100% recommend. I called ten auto shops in CLT and only King Auto was straightforward and helpful about my repair. I went in same day and was told it would take 2.5 hours, but it only took 1. They were so nice, fair price, and super personable, and my car looks great!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Horrible customer service. I stopped in to ask a question about possibly getting my car serviced. Guy had an attitude and said we're closing come back Monday and walked off. I wouldn't spend a penny in here after that initial meeting with staff here. I do not recommend. In reply to his response had there been respect shown at the initial greeting my review would have been different. Walking away from a customer in mid sentence is poor work ethic and business practice. My review is very accurate people and I do not recommend this business.

Not sure I've ever written a review, but this place deserves the 5 Stars. First of all, Jonny is the nicest guy. He's honest, up front, funny to put you at ease if your car had completely broken down like mine. Second, they quoted me a fair price before repairing, which was a little less than the average cost of the repair as shown from a quick Google search. Third and possibly most important they're incredibly fast, and they're great at communicating their timeline so you know when you'll be back on your feet/tires. My water pump broke and the belt snapped while I was driving past, and I slowly drifted in to their lot and parked a broken down car in front hoping beyond hope I lucked out and found an honest, competent, quick mechanic. Nobody enjoys breaking down, but it was almost worth it to find a trustworthy mechanic who was not only fast and fairly priced, but extremely enjoyable to work with. I saw a few other reviews and the complaints seem to be about them not helping them because they were closed which, like; not sure how those people function in society if they don't understand store hours. The 1 star should be removed, because that's absurd. But that being said, I literally drifted in without power steering or ability to drive any further, and even though they were closing up shop Jonny came out personally to tell me what he thought was wrong, and explain they were closing but I could leave it overnight even if I didn't end up using him for the repairs. I ended up walking back the next day and Jonny was at lunch, so the mechanic's requested I leave the key if they'd be fixing it as well as the contact information, but said they wouldn't give me a price and to speak to Jonny. Which may sound bad, but as someone who has gone to a shop where every mechanic chimes in with something they think is wrong to see if you'll bite and they can charge you for it, I think that's amazing. All the mechanics are very nice, and more-so say to speak to Jonny for any information and quotes so you don't feel pressured into unnecessary repairs. This is a bit of a tangent, but I really am so grateful and pumped that I lucked out breaking down directly in front of a wonderful honest mechanic. There's only 5 stars, but they're a 10 out of 10 for me.Services: Auto battery maintenance

My dad's bumper got knocked off due to hitting a curb. These guys were fast and efficient in repairing it. I found them super affordable and honest.
