Kio's Asian Stir

I can't understand the great reviews. The food and sauce were bland to tasteless, the service was barely friendly like most Chinese restaurants. The service was slow (it was just the two of us) and the bathroom was filthy disgusting. The whole place is filthy. None of the chairs were pushed back in at the tables. Just a mess. Take a lot of hand sanitizer with you. Never again.

Yuck. Anemic and weird textured chicken in chicken pad Thai and broccoli chicken. Steamed dumplings were doughy and so so. The only saving grace was the wonton soup which cost us about $4. And free white rice was perfectly steamed. Gross. Go anywhere else.

Passed by this small corner restaurant on Broadway, and for some reason decided to give it a shot since they have lunch specials averaging $6. The lunch special comes with a soup (wonton, egg drop, etc), a choice of one of their luncheon entrees, and either fried rice, lo mein, or steamed rice. I know, sounds like Panda Express, but the quality of food is much better (more authentic), and the service is very good. They also do take-out and delivery.

Staff is really friendly. The food is great here. Sizable portions and they let you sub lo mein instead of rice in your chefs specials. The boba is sometimes tough, but the milk tea is tasty. Can't remark on the in house service as I've always had delivery, but the delivery is always promot and friendly. There are a lot of reviews claiming that the flavors in their food were off, but I've only had tasty, well seasoned for from here. I definitely recommend checking it out.

Great service - really nice people. Kung pao shrimp was delicious.
