Sumo Sushi

An awesome dining place for group less than 5. The Chief here is from Japan and he is a really nice person. The food he cooks is amazing. Sushi here are fresh and tasty. Price are fair and you get a view of the streets. There are many choices of food, many food other than sushi. Love this place

I love sushi so it's okay with me that there is not much cooked food on the menu. There is a sign that says BYOB on the door which means they do not sell alcohol. However and you can bring your own by purchasing it from the liquor store downstairs. During the winter months the only one waiting on you is the owner so service might be a little slow. However super nice guy and I thought that was a good experience. But since there wasn't many other choices I had to give it a four star.

Dated interior and worst sushi ever. My daughter’s spicy tuna rolls were chunks of tuna and rice drowning m in Frank’s Red Hot Sauce. Couldn’t eat one bite and owner was furious we complained. Who the hell puts Frank’s (by the spoonful) on sushi? I asked what the sauce was but he changed the subject. Ordered shrimp tempura and a bowl with two shrimp, three sweet potato and an onion arrived.again, owner upset i questioned if it was the shrimp dish. Can’t believe we’re still alive.

The owner is really nice and my sushi lunch was fantastic. My next visit, I'm going to have to try the Korean dishes on the menu.
