I visited early December 2017 and it was close to empty. It happened to be right when the leaves started changing colors and falling so the park was beautiful! The water is nice a great place for families. No running water on site, so make sure you pack some before you arrive!

Beautiful place to be. Very quiet and we'll kept. Beautiful river with small waterfalls, clear water, rocks, white sand, Hills.

A great place to spend time with your family. No running water though, so keep that in mind.

Such a Beautiful park & Campground! Being from California I've seen them all! What I liked about this place in Louisiana was it's on the smaller side which I like, not super crowded & water, tress, rocks all very close in proximity, really pretty place! Loved it! ♡♡♡
