I wish I could give no stars. This place was unbelievably uninviting. It smelled of stale food. The bathroom was brown and dirty. No soap and the towels were discolored. The sheets were dirty as well and had burned cigarette holes in them. We had four rooms for our family. ALL of our rooms were horrible. We complained several times and the host basically told us “they are not high end so we get what we get”. Our locks for one room had to be changed 3 times!! I could say so much more. Point is, do not stay here. There are other hotels in the same area and those are WAY better.
I have traveled many places, including developing countries, but this hotel takes the cake as the most disgusting hotel I have ever been inside in my life. I was persuaded by the reviews saying that the negative reviews were from people who expected too much for a cheap hotel. Honestly, all I wanted was a clean place to sleep since my husband and I had been driving for 12hours. I didn’t need it to be new, nice, or modern. Just CLEAN. As we walked up the stairs to the second floor there were brown liquid stains running down the walls. There were blood and other fluid stains on the mattress, holes in the mattress, black mold in the shower/bathroom, filth on the walls, and more mold on the ceiling. It looked like a horror movie. I almost cried because I didn’t want to sleep here, but the other hotels in the area were booked and we were too deliriously tired to drive much further. The only positive thing I can say is that we checked the mattress for bedbugs and didn’t see any signs of that.
I’d rate it a zero if I could. I’ve stayed in literally hundreds of hotels, and as far as cleanliness and maintenance are concerned - easily the worst. The first room I was in in, the heater quit about 1 minute after I turned it on it was about 27* that night. It had blown a breaker I’m an Electrician- I know. I called the front desk, 10 minutes later, someone came up. Great. <<Not that I needed the service, but the room was advertised as having a safe. It did not. The property was also advertised as smoke free. Again, it’s not...>> -The second room smelled worse of smoke than the first. -There were stains on the carpet, chairs and towels. See pictures -The heat lamp in the bathroom granted a feature not all hotels have, including this one... was missing a dial. When I used pliers to grip and turn it on, the timer didn’t work. -There was candy and hair under the foot of the bed. -The shower was either frigid or scalding - and I like a hot shower, but that literally was hot enough to physically cause burns -And the heat never even took the chill off the room.. I travel with a fleece blanket, thankfully, to try and stay warm, but ended up “sleeping” in my hoodie, coat, and jeans. Don’t let the “free breakfast” fool you. It was coffee and cereal that even looked stale. I will absolutely NOT be staying again, and would NOT recommend this, or any Knights Inn to anyone. And when this review receives a comment from the property that “We are sorry that you experienced problemsic , however we will address your concern and try our best to improve our services,” you can take that sorry and shove it. Sorry doesn’t excuse THAT.
They have no idea how to clean. Read reviews but the only 1 of 2 ParkStay&Fly place near airport and the other one was rated worse. Made them change us until we got a halfway decent room. The owner said bad reviews were from people mad at them, NO bad reviews are because it was a gross place. Will never use again.
It's not a 5 star hotel but it gets 5 stars based on it's price point, feeling of safety, cleanliness of the particular room I was in, and a nice clean pool. The pool area seating and furniture are almost nill... Which was kinda depressing.. but over all.. taking into consideration of the target market... This hotel isn't bad at all.
If I could I would give them a 0 we checked in at 10 pm on 07/28/18 and I check the room as usually didn't see anything bad until I woke up to use the restroom cut on the light and bam a bedbug and his family and they didn't won't to accommodate us period they just wanted to out us in another room which I felt like it had bed bugs also never Anson will I stay at this place oh his resin for bout refunding us our money is because he didn't see but 1 bed bug I told him if you have 1 you have more I will never stay there again. Well they respond saying they check that before and after I checked in and out but I have photos to prove my account at this hotel! !
Not what I thought pics do the rooms no justice. The area was pretty good quite only heard 2 planes fly over but wasn't bad where I couldn't sleep. Bed was comfortable BUT there was some type of white droppings on the floor, the area around the safe hadn't been vacuumed, 2 of the 5 lamps didn't work and the ones that did didn't illuminate the room well and the lampshades were stained/dirty. There was mold in the bathroom, the faucet/showerhead has a bad drip, the tub looked uncleaned so I put a towel in just to shower. The water never got hot in the shower or the sink. You get what you pay for in this establishment. I don't think I'll stay again
Though they say breakfast is included in the package, all they give is coffee, cornflakes and some sugary roles. Bread would have been much better option. For $70 a day the linens are dirty. We had to ask for a different bedspread and pillowcase the day we reached, the different pillow cover also had a big black blotch. Room doesn't have a iron or a coffee machine. WiFi is included but has no connectivity. We have been using up our 4g. We are hurricane Irma evacuees from Miami and staying here till Tuesday as we have no other choice as this is the only hotel that had vacancy. While I have heard that most of the hotels have been not charging pet fee we have been charged $50 for our cat.
I had a peaceful stay at this hotel. I asked for an early check in and they accommodated me by one hour. I requested a frigerator and microwave for my meds and they accommodated me. I had no complaints for my room . It was clean, no beds and I felt safe,as I was traveling alone. This hotel is indeed in need of repair. How ever they do try to make you welcome ,with a pleasent stay.
Greyhound once again left me stranded. Thank goodness for this place! The Lovely woman Ms. Jessie who checked me in was so WONDERFUL!! She went above & beyond to help me. Rooms are Clean & very nice . I HIGHLY recommend staying here :
