This was our first visit to a full size Kobe restaurant, before we had only been to a Kobe Express in NC. We were excited to find one closer (85 miles) to where we live in Illinois. We went for lunch and prices were really good for the amount of food you get. Our server was great and explained our options as they also have a buffet. Well organized restaurant and our food came out hot and delicious! Clean well kept restrooms. We will be returning.

The staff were friendly and were very attentive. The price was reasonable for the amount of food you recieve. The California roll and Salmon rolls were very good. We ordered the steak and shrimp and chicken and shrimp. I wasn't impressed with the flavor of the rice, it was kind of bland and the serving was about 2 cups, huge. The noodles were great though. I would liked to have had more vegetables. The rice and noodles overtook the plate. The steak and chicken had good flavor but there wasn't much of either. The shrimp were large enough and were decent. All in all, it was okay.

Great atsmophere and large dining area with many options and generous menu. We went for the $10 sushi buffet with hibachi - was alright, very polite and attentive staff, but very average sushi quality. Probably a better dining time with the most serious menu items.

The quality of the food has diminished, leaving some of our party with upset stomachs. Salty, fatty meat. Soup was watered down. Also, the chef seemed to have somewhere else to be and rushed the presentation. Soup and salad served at same time. Squeeze bottles of sauce given to us rather than put in dipping cups. Shrimp appetizer served with meal. Very disappointed with the experience since we used to enjoy this restaurant. Will not be returning.

Excellent for dinner parties very fun atmosphere and if your looking for a more intimate setting they have that as well. I highly reccomend it.
