Kohl's Norman

Great store! I have always gotten wonderful service and love the deals I find. I went just before Christmas and had a wonderful lady that worked in the jewelry department (I wish I could remember her name) go way above and beyond to help me find what I was looking for and then checked me out there so I would not have to wait in the long line. She was so kind and helpful at a time that chaos and grumpy people were abound! She smiled, was cheerful and such a blessing! I have always been blessed with great people to assist me or check me out. Today I had to return some things from Christmas and the Service desk lady was kind and helpful as well. If I can help it, I will always go to this store!!!

I've been a customer of Kohl's for a couple of years and while the in-person customer experience is okay, the telephone customer service is poor. With many choices of brick and mortar and online stores, this would not be my first choice.

I frequently shop at Kohls and use my Kohls charge. Usually a very great experience, but not today at the Norman location. I forgot my 20% at home and usually it can be honored right away or associate will hand a couple more scratch offs to try for more than 15%, but today's associate was very stingy and she was being very short with me. I will stick with online shopping or another location from now on.

Unfortunately, I needed a belt on this day I went into Kohl's because it's one of my favorite places to shop, not this particular Kohl's because it's not near my home. I figured they would all be partially the same once, I entered the store I immediately could not find what I was looking for, they were not where the belts are normally located in my Khols. I decided to ask an associate, she advised me that the belts were in the back because they were doing inventory and that she would go and get one for me. She came back to me and stated that "I'm sorry, I spoke with one of the managers and we cannot sell the belts because we are having inventory." I have never in my life heard of any such thing. Now being a retail person myself I know that inventory is for the entire store not just a certain section so my question to her was if you're not selling belts because of inventory why are you selling other things, she could not answer and I didn't have the patience to deal with it anymore. So I voiced my opinion to my husband & left the other items so that we could depart store and a manager overheard me as I'm walking out the door and he yells out, what size belt did you need. I told him that I needed to size at the store I was going too because I knew that they would more than happy to sell me theirs. if it wasn't for the fact that they help changed the pin in my husband's watch I would have given this rating one star.
