Penneys has lots of variety, friendly staff and displays are colorful, eye-catching. The place is tidy and neat, clean. The staff people I encountered were very friendly, helpful. I had a customer service person greet me, another asked me if I needed anything. Cute clothes, and MEN'S XXXL+ sizes in shirts too. Unusual to find in stores today. Good mainstay place to shop!

The store is woefully understaffed. I come in here fairly regular and there's never more than a single employee working a large area. Because of this many departments don't look much better than your average thrift store. The employees themselves are mixed. They tend to be either extremely friendly or extremely not. On a recent visit I had trouble finding a register that was either A) open or B) didn't have a line a mile long. I brought my purchases to the e-commerce counter where there was a younger dude who was smiling and happy to ring me up and an older lady standing beside him who was quite clearly annoyed I had dared bring my clothing purchases to her pristine counter. The situation sums up my experiences here. As far as the product goes they run excellent sales on clothing from time to time. They also have one of the best clearance sections in the entire mall. I also love their Sephora on the lower. It is THE place to buy fragrances in the entirety of the mall. They are laid out in convenient, easy to browse way and they have soooo many different bottles. It's a fine store overall. The employee situation though is a total Russian roulette. Good luck!

I walked thru and was looking for a purse. I didn't find what I was looking for, style and size. Big selection, just not one for me. Helpful employees, was asked a couple of times if I needed any help. Nice, big store, and clean.

Quick trip. They are selling refrigerators and dryers. This must be their last efforts to push Sears out. Sears was the only one I knew off that sold these items with clothing. I know Macy's sells mattresses in store. I hope JCPenney's survives the new trend as many of their stores are out dated and are in old department stores with little changes. Their new concept that is much the same as Kohl's or Mervyn's seems to be doing well for them.

The customer service was exceptional. Especially the cashier with accent! Makes my day with her efficiency & knowledge of merchandise 😌
