This is my regular Kroger. The staff is very friendly and do what they can for you. However, check out has been a nightmare since I can remember. More regular checkout lines are needed. Also, please teach the employees how to bag. There shouldn't be cans with produce and frozen items scattered among 5 or 6 different bags. Cold items need to be bagged together and this is an ongoing problem every week.
I'm a regular customer, when i go there to make money order, i have to wait for long time without any reason because she doesn't care of costumers , always call her please come i need money order but she doesn't come and stand by the self checking service, she is rude. Her name is Elena. Please hire someone with good customer service.
It is painful for me to write the review. Been shopping at this Kroger since it was built - over 40 years ago. The staff at this store really friendly and helpful, and I feel badly for them. Corporate has decided to increase profits by forcing customers to use self-check out. The problem is, the self check out lanes are super small - they area is too small for medium to large grocery shoppings - they are better suited for 10-12 item quick trips. There is no way to even do a large shopping in self check-out unless you put items on the floor - it overflows. It’s a mess - I’ve tried and it is a total pain. They close all the cashier check out lanes to just one open lane - so shoppers have to wait in line 4-7 customers deep even when the store isn’t busy. Their other staff who would do cashiering are picking orders for pick-up and delivery customers. Kroger’s competition GE has regular sized self-check out isles that can accommodate larger orders. If this location doesn’t fix this, by adding more cashiers or larger self-check out lanes, they are going to start losing loyal customers.
Kroger, Kroger, Kroger, what to do with you? Every few months they'll move a few aisles of merchandise around like a fun game of consumerism hide and seek, but this time they literally moved whole aisles. As of a week or two ago, they've moved giant racks of merchandise into customer walkways, making tight corridors out of such low traffic areas as the milk cheese and meat. It's frankly gobsmacking to me, and like all the other anti-customer antics, like having barely stocked checkouts and hardly any baggers, it's just another in a long stack of straws that continue to fuel my 'old man yells at cloud' rants. This Kroger is bad, but who else would I go to? I'm not a millionaire so Giant Eagle is out. Guess I'll just leave mad ramblings on their Google review page.
This Kroger is amazing. They are always so kind to my kids and I. Tonight I was short on change and they helped me. Thank you so much.
Better hours than market district Kingsdale but you have to scan your own items after a certain time. Prices are lower on some items but higher on others compared to market district
If I could give a zero I would. I waited over 30 minutes for them to bring me my online pick up order. Worst service ever. No one answered the phone when I called. Will never come back here…
Online ordering is a mess on the weekends. Place order early, 11 AM, to pick up between 4-5. Arrived at 4:50 PM only to be told the order wouldn’t be ready until 6:30ish. We arrived back at 6:30 PM only to be told the order wasn’t ready and to come back after 7 PM! We received to calls that the order wouldn’t be ready and drove there twice, with no groceries to pick up. With gas at almost 5 bucks a gallon this is inconsiderate and I won’t be back as a customer!
This place needs an attitude overhaul or more help needs hired. And I mean majority of the employees except for a few of the cashiers are not friendly at all. I spend close to 1500 a month on groceries and pretty soon it will NOT be at a Kroger’s.
Love the chain grocery store, generally, and this location was no exception. Though moderately busy, it didn't take too long to get through the check out line with an able cashier at this clean and modern site.
