WARNING CUSTOMERS KROGER PHARMACY 4501 Outer Loop is the WORST‼..if you callin-in for medication or questions they DO NOT answer ,so u have to basically go there they have a long line sometimes back to the entrance..and after been in line,the Pharm tech tell you either your meds is not ready,or wasnt called in or there out of your medication and u have to come the next day. This Pharmacy needs to hired more staff and have someone their just to answer patients phone calls to prevent longer lines because patients need their prescription. Its the worst Pharmacy ive ever been and i will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere!!!
I got a call at 12:25 that my sons prescription is ready for pickup. I got here at 12:58 to pick up my prescription. Tried explaining that I had to be at work at 1:30. The lady behind the register was absolutely rude and nasty. I definitely will be switching pharmacies after today.
I’ve had numerous prescriptions filled at this pharmacy. Not a single time have I had a smooth experience. I’ve never been one to complain about a business, but this pharmacy is utterly pathetic. They never meet the time frame they give you for pickup and they will never not waste your day. I’ve typed this entire review as I’m waiting for them to answer my call, which will definitely not be getting answered. Can’t wait to drive over there to be told that my prescription won’t be ready for “45 minutes”
I would leave zero stars if I could. My husband has cancer and we have waited up to a week for his extremely important medications. I've called and they rarely answer and when they do I usually get an attitude. Also, when they don't know the answer to a question like why isn't the medication still not filled after four days they will put you on hold and not come back to the phone. Wait times are beyond ridiculous when waiting there to pick up prescriptions. Do yourself a big favor and go elsewhere.
I would give ZERO stars. They never call you when your prescription is ready. Don't bother trying to reach anyone by phone at this location. They are understaffed all the time and never answer. The drive-thru is never opened. You're better off going there and waiting in the ridiculous line. You don't even hear the phone ring when you call them while at the counter.
What kind of pharmacy gets a bad review? This one does, and that's why its rating is so low. This place has a line stretching to the stote entrance most days. The workers are inept. They will also gladly waste your time and chat up customers or coworkers while the line continues to grow. They often don't have the medication you need and are usually late on it when they do have it. Didn't take me too many trips to this pharmacy to see this unacceptable pattern. Go somewhere else, this place should have 0 stars.
This is a joke. I have never seen a pharmacy so unorganized. I called three days prior for a prescription they told me a date. I called back on that date just to make sure it was ready - they told me they packaging it up that it would be ready at 3pm. I arrived at 5pm. They couldn’t find it - they were looking under paper and around there computers. I don’t think prescriptions should just be laying out in random areas. They then told me they didn’t have it and it wouldn’t arrive until tomorrow. They said someone forgot to order it. But then why did they tell me it would be ready by 3pm? Didn’t they have my information pulled up? She then asked if I would like them to call around to see who had it. Yes, I would. I had to leave the next morning which is why I called so many times before hand.
I called to find out if they had a medicine in stock before I transferred a prescription to this pharmacy. It is an antibiotic, so I need it as soon as possible. It rang so much it sent me back to the menu. After going through the prompts a second time, the call was picked up, but immediately placed on hold. After sitting on hold for over 25 minutes and calling on 3 other lines, someone actually picked up on one of the other lines and was able to help me. We'll see how the rest of the experience is when actually picking up the prescription.
I called the Pharmacy 2 days in a row multiple times to make an appointment and never 1 time was the phone ever picked up. On many occasions the phone was picked up and immediately hung up to disconnect the line. This type of service has occurred most times when calling. Obviously they are tremendously understaffed or simply do not care whatsoever about the customer. Hate to say in this day of faltering customer service, this place is a disgrace and as bad as it gets.
Dropped off prescription at 4p, told it would be ready by 5p. Get there at 8p, told it’ll be another 10 minutes. When I reiterated that I was told it would be ready by 5p, they said there was only two techs working. There sure as hell weren’t just two when I dropped off the prescription, and if I had shown up at 5p, would I have had to wait another 3.5 hours? I see why the reviews for this pharmacy are abysmal. It's fortunate that this isn’t my typical pharmacy, because I’m not coming back.
