Went to a wedding catered by Kung POW! and though the food was flavorful, the whole process was poorly executed and each dish was cold. The meal was a six course family-style meal and each dish was brought to us every 15 minutes or so. First and foremost, not a single dish was delivered warm. Everything was cold and not the least bit warm. Disappointing for a catering service. Cold fried lobster and fried tofu tasted as sad as it sounds. The white rice was brought last which was extremely disappointing because it is a palate cleanser and your Go-To spice and salt relief. Everyone at the table was already filled up on dishes and water by the time the rice got to the table. So 99.9% of the rice was untouched. Each dish had its own unique flavor but I couldn't help but think that it was overly flavored. At times some dishes tasted like an extension of Panda Express. I would have appreciated more authentic lightly flavored food items rather than Americanized blow-your-taste-buds-off-with-sauce flavor.
There was a screw in my fried rice. A screw!! Oh my effing goodness. I am absolutely shocked and utterly disgusted beyond belief. I thought I lost my tooth!! Omg never do business here. I am so angry and disgusted. This is disgraceful and should not go unpunished. Unbelievable Share the photo and never eat here EVER.Food: 1/5
Ordered delivery, the chicken siu mai was RAW. Will never order from here again, this is extremely dangerous. BEWARE
Food was amazing service couldn’t be beat. I must try. So happy I stopped here.
Kung POW! Catered for our agency's Lunar New Year luncheon and they went above and beyond for us! They showed up on time, helped my team and I set up everything and was so generous with the food portion. Everyone at the agency LOVED the food. We had chicken shumai, shitake dumpling, pork dumpling, fried chicken and veggie fried rice. Thank you Kung POW! for your amazing service and delicious food. We appreciate you!
Food was very good. The Kung Pow chicken and Mongolian Beef were delicious. Their rice could use more soy sauce. The Chow mein was the best though. We also tried the handmade noodles and those were spicy and delicious. My main issue was the potstickers. They were very large, which I don't mind, but didn't seem all the way cooked, so we didn't eat those. We ate at takeout so not sure on service, but they seemed nice on pickup.
I've been vegan 10 years and have other allergies that I mentioned. I had some food from here and I've been sick all day since, I'm highly allergic to fishes and any cross contamination. I called to ask what the ingredients were due to my sudden nausea and vomiting after eating some food from them. As a cook who knows health code your not supposed to take food back once it leaves the restaurant and they got mad at me for throwing the food away.. Idk I don't suggest eating here if vegan.
Spring rolls had a great high vegetable to fried ratio. Crab and cream cheese wantons were unique and delicious! Pork fried rice was very good, could have a little more flavor. Sweet and sour chicken was also pretty solid, very sweet, though. Overall a good experience. Friendly and prompt service and nice atmosphere.
Got a postmates order, first in a long time from here because things are so expensive everywhere. Judy's noodles used to be my favorite. Asked them to not add jalapeno only hot thing in description and left a note that I was sharing with a toddler. Must have not seen the note, but noodles were inedible to me, and I love spice. It was like someone dumped half a bag of crushed red pepper in there. So disappointed, and I was really looking forward to this. Soup dumplings are still good, as was the breaded prawns
Fresh creative items on the menu. Only draw back is that rice is not included with entrees and the dishes are usually drenched in the sauce.
