Family owned and operated, La Bella Italia has 2 locations: Ghent and Red Mill Commons.
La Bella Italia is the brain child of founder Anna Alaimo. Born and raised in Sicily, she moved to Virginia Beach in 1990 with her, then, newborn son Marco, daughter Victoria and oldest son Andrea. Together, they have created a place where people come not just to enjoy exceptionally exquisite food but they also feel warmth of family and tradition. The family sold their mother’s store this year, but will bring all of that passion and tradition to their Redmill location. You will find Anna in the dining room greeting guests, or baking delicious sweets. Marco can be found in the kitchen creating and following all of mom’s recipes. On occasion you will find daughter Victoria helping out where she can. It’s truly a family affair!
