La Dorada

One of the worst experiences of my life in a restaurant. On mother’s day we had a booking for 4 people and when we arrived we were rudely treated and asked to leave because we had a guide dog with us. The owner said that it was a private stablishment and that he didn’t had to abaid by federal regulations. It was until I remarked that my friend was visually impaired that he retracted himself and allowed us to go in. He put as an excuse that the restaurant was full of children and that he had carpeted floors. We finally ended up eating there because all the other restaurants were fully booked, otherwise we would have left, but not without reporting this incident to the proper authorities. Definitely never going back ever again. This is a restaurant not recommended for the disabled.

Great food. good service, old-style ambiance. Prices are a bit high, but you eat well and the experience brings you back to Spain years ago.

Ugh. Avoid. This restaurant has seen better days. Unfortunately my recent dinner there with guests was not one of them. Major complaint was with the Paella which we ordered for four. In the words of one of my guests, "If I had prepared this,' he said, ' I would have thrown it in the garbage.' And that describes it - over cooked mushy rice, WAY over salted, a very poor selection/inclusion of fish - Four linguistines or large shrimp (not devined), a handful of shrimp and lots of rubbery octopus or some such that I could not eat. Embarrassingly bad. Dinner with desert and wine and tip $500+. PS owners - change your carpet. It appears to be filthy.

Amazing experience, the food was exquisite and the service was remarkable! A very special ans authentic Spanish restaurant. The Prawns were unbelievably wonderful...they truly figured out the recipe to: complexity in simplicity.
