Rincon Escondido Tapas & Restaurant

When people think "hole in the wall restaurant", you normally have an idea of some place you would rather not visit, let alone eat there. This place is a diamond in the rough. The neighborhood is less than flattering, but once inside you can see that this place is special. Specializing in cuisine that is a fusion of Argentinian foods and traditional Spanish tapas, the majority of the proteins here are pork/ham, seafood, and a little bit of either beef or chicken. Portions are meant for sharing, flavors are fresh an delightful (EVERYTHING is made to order), and the employees here are more like family you haven't see welcoming you back home with a home cooked meal. My wife and I had the Sangria blanca and it was very nice. A very nice surprise indeed. On one note, call ahead if you are interested in sharing some paella. It comes in two verities and must be ordered ahead of time. It is very popular and gets sold out. If I return to Miami, this location is sure to receive at least one more visit.

What a negative first impression I don't understand why people are so rude I just called this restaurant to find out where can I park and the guy who answered the phone told me there is parking lot behind the restaurant and I asked him if there are enough parking spots and he responded me I'm no going outside to see if there are enough parking spots. What a rude person and bad customer service. I never wanted him to go outside to check it was a yes or no answer. I'll Definitely won't go there.

Great service, variety of tapas and imported beers from Spain. Will go again without hesitating!!

This place is the definition of hidden gem. This spot is a little hole in the wall- small restaurant but has great Spanish vibe. My husband and I have been looking for a Spanish-style tapas place that did the description justice and we finally found it! I do have to mention that this place is very European in the sense that the food is not fast. They specify it in the menu that some dishes can take about 60 minutes cook time due to it being made from scratch. We recently had a tapas night at Rincon Escondido and they brought each of our tapas out at a time, so if you're planning on a "quick dinner" this is not the place for you, but if you want to enjoy your evening with some great food and sangria, this place is great!
