Esporta Fitness it's a complete gym with all & most equipment you would expected in a gym for workout, Esporta Fitness originated by LA- Fitness it's one of a kind you would want to work out nd call a 2nd home with great peoples where family & nd friends come to build nd shape theirs bodies for results.....this gym it's the heart of Graceland shopping mall & the largest in the center on the backside with fanatic view of the whole friend end of the shopping center with incredible view while working out on the 2nd floor.........before you go any where please check them out top gym in my preferred that I would recommend any one there.....

This gym is really starting to go down hill. It isn’t very clean and there is always something broken. Ever since it changed names from LA Fitness it has slowly gone downhill. I can pay a lesser membership fee and get the same experience somewhere else.

Always clean and nice! Set up well too! My only complaint is that the body scale they have is difficult to get an exact/easy to read number on. I like to see exact numbers, but this is an old school dr's office scale and the reading it gives you seems rather ambiguous. Maybe I should ask them to teach my how to know for sure where the little pin is pointing once it is balanced. Upgrading to a digital scale would be nice too.

It could double as a museum with the aging equipment. Very little has changed since this opened in 2008 as Urban Active. Treadmills have loose belts, ellipticals don't increase in tension, and the cable machines like a lot of other weight AND cardio equipment are constantly "scheduled for service." None of this is a good sign that Esporta corporate cares about this location. On the plus side, the cleaners in the morning do a good job keeping the place clean, it's easy to get in and out, and the price is decent.

It's "okay". Machines are coated in dust. Just doesn't seem very clean. Employees are not friendly at all except for kids club, they are always great in there. Today I tried to go at 830 they open at 8 and there was a crowd of people waiting to get in because no one had showed up to open the door. My membership expires in March and I may just go somewhere else. They have a good selection of weights and machines and I very rarely have issues with having to wait. There is a women only section but seems like stuff is broken in there more often.

Honestly kinda gross sometimes, but it is very affordable. I just get the vibe they're gonna bleed as much money as they can out of this place and Grandview before they ultimately go out of business or sell it to another bargain basement fitness company. The locker room can be disgusting, I try to keep my time there to a minimum. I almost never see people wiping down machines either. It's a gym, it is what it is. Their equipment is mostly still pretty nice, the people that come to this gym are the worst though. If I have to sit in the sauna one more time while some roided out weight lifter guy wicks his sweat on the heater I'm gonna lose it. Outside of a depraved few, most of us don't wanna schvitz in your salty essence.

The older man working the desk, Bryan Brian, was very rude and unhelpful while visiting from out of town with my father. After returning 50 minutes later to re-check in when I asked if I needed to give him my phone number again he rudely replied that it I want back in I do and then proceeded to tell me I need to use the app, even though they have a sign posted that you can provide phone number look up, AND I had just entered and already provided this info. After asking some members in the locker room they stated he was very unpleasant and u friendly with them as well. These members, like myself, are people of color and today I felt this gentleman’s poor behavior to be racially motivated and hurtful.

Decent gym for the price. Plenty of free weight area with a track. Treadmills could be updated. Pool and basketball court included.

Great place, except for the people who use weight machines to sit and play on their phones, couple who hold two machines while one works out, or just sit and talk for half an hour, Some of us have limited time to get a good work out done, Oh, and the guy that brings his girlfriend into the locker room with him. Great times!

Gym is full of thieves. please be careful. If something gets stolen from you they will play dumb and wont show you the video footage.
