La Forge Casino Restaurant

This is a Fantastic restaurant with the feel of an Irish Pub. The comfort style food was tasty and service was speedy. They have very comfortable seating and the interior is charming. There is street parking but there is also a paid parking lot across the street.

The food and services was very good. This restaurant has been in Newport for sometime. It happen to be quiet time but in the summer you can sit in back patio and watch people play tennis at the Tennis Hall of Fame.

If you are looking for a quality place away from the buzz of Thames str, this is the restaurant to visit. Both inside and outside seatig available. Quick and polite service, food is awesome.

I enjoyed my visit, a bit expensive but that's Newport for you. Had a very generous pour of whiskey so I can't complain. Service was good and the food was excellent.

What happened? There was an attempt with new ownership to launch a new version with swankier decor and menus, but now it's back to the same with mediocre food, plain china and slow hum drum service.
