La Pita

I have dined here a few times now and I have to say that this is a great spot to check out if you're in the Detroit area. The service is fast and the servers are caring. The food is delicious! The chicken anything is always a juicy bite. Same goes for the beef! The portions are generous and the environment is cool. The music gives a great Mediterranean vibe and you will enjoy your time here!

I ordered over the phone. The food was not ready when they said it would be. I had to wait a little bit. The food was great and the staff is polite. One issue I had was the soup container is cheap Styrofoam and the top came off. Some of the soup spilled into the bag. I would suggest they use better containers with lids that don't come off easily. Another issue I have is that they don't give you the fresh baked pita bread with carry outs, but you get it for free in the restaurant. Instead, you get bland lawash bread. If you want the fresh baked pita bread, you have to pay for it. This doesn't make sense to me!

The food here is very good! There is a wide selection of Mediterranean/Lebanese fare to choose from. Also, you are served freshly baked pita when you are seated, and I would recommend also going with the hummus to enjoy with the pita. Pricing is reasonable considering the relatively large portions. It is also a neat atmosphere inside, and they have lots of outdoor seating too.

Tonight was my second time going to La Pita and it was an amazing experience. It was a packed Saturday evening yet we only had to wait a little bit for a table - we barely noticed the wait at all. We were seated in this little gorgeous private area. Our server was amazing and super attentive and helpful. The food was so delicious and fresh. The pita is the best EVER and you can even watch it being made in the ovens. For our actual meal we ordered the party platter. The menu says this is good for 4-5 people, but we were 6 people and we had leftovers!!! It was GREAT value for the price. The server also brought birthday cake for my father and I (it was just his birthday and mine is very soon) and was super kind to both of us. I can't wait to come back again and enjoy this wonderful place.

Best place for lunch and dinner. Variety of food, with good quality meat and fresh salad.. one thing I like about this place is their hot bread and complimentary pita chips..I love this place..
