Al Ameer Restaurant

Very nice restaurant. The food was good.. We had a party at inside their banquet hall which isn't glamorous or anything but service and food was excellent.. Only knock is banquet hall could use better decor but other than that I would highly recommend dining here. Inside the main restaurant decor is nice .

Our 1st time here... but sure won't be our last! Food was scrumptious, server was very pleasant, helpful and efficient... and portions were very generous. Glad to see it re-opened! Hope it has a long history. We plan to do our part!

I like the Al Ameer on Ford and Inkster. But this location really has a lot of work to do. I came here to have a nice dinner with my date and the service was nonexistent. They're so retarded I had to ask for somebody to assist us. I ordered a whole fried fish and it came out under cooked. No big deal they offered to replace it with something so we got half a boneless chicken. They brought that it was extremely dry and burnt, thus only adding to the initial mistake they made. Then when I finally got my bill they included the fried fish that was undercooked so I told him to correct that obviously that was a mistake. No semblance or care or attention to detail. There is no shortage of good Lebanese restaurants in the metro Detroit area, so I cannot stand it when one gives poor quality food and service because they know their food's going to sell. I wish that building remained an Indian restaurant

Great food and great service. Chicken shawarma is great. A few times the dishes were not properly cleaned, but the staff's reaction made up for it, also have been told a remodel and new kitchen equipment will ensure better quality soon.

Just ordered a couple falafel sandwiches and a plate of fried eggplant and fried cauliflower. I don't know what happened here to be honest. The egglpant felt like soggy triple fried bread and smelled like fish and the cauliflower was BLACK (might have been fried leftovers from yesterday and fried again today) I've never had a problem at any other locations. Al-Ameer is usually a household name in our community but i wouldn't order from this location again.
