Went here for mother's day. It was completely packed but worth the wait! The staff was wonderful and attentive. The food was great, and yes, we did have the biscuits and gravy. Absolutely delicious, can't wait to come back soon!

This was the best dining experience I've ever had. I am no food critic, but I have been in the customer service and restaurant business for almost half my life, and I've never been anywhere (my own personal employment included) like it. We'll start with the food. I got the country omelette minus tomatoes, with their amazing potatoes. This was a delicious meal, the omelette was prepared the correct way, and the veggies inside were actually cooked! Now, the potatoes. My first initial complaint about this experience was that they don't serve hash browns, that was until I tried their potatoes. They were fried to perfection, and they were so flavorful, and not dry in the least. It was very impressive, as well as that country gravy poured generously over top. I would bet a generous portion of their food, if not all, is home made. In fact, I purposely waited to post a review until after I had eaten my leftovers just to see how well they reheated, and it was just as tasty the next morning, potatoes included! Our table also ordered the red velvet pancakes. The cream cheese frosting was perfect, not sweet at all, but paired with the powered sugar and the pancakes themselves, it was perfect! We ate them later when they were cold as a cake, and yes it was amazing. We also ordered a breakfast chicken biscuit sandwich, cheesy grits, and a side of bacon. I personally didn't try the last 3 items, but I heard no complaints. Now, for the service. Not only did their cooks know what they were doing, but their wait staff was also knowledgeable about the food that they serve. If you wanna see the definition of customer service in action, get breakfast here. I cannot tell you how much of a difference good customer service makes! The waitress was nice and very helpful in answering all of our many many questions. It was all amazing, I can't wait to go back!

Had their southern style scramble with their sausage gravy. The portion size was good enough for two meals. I usually don't shy away from a hearty meal but there was so much food left over that I had the rest for lunch. The staff was nice and very attentive. Looking forward to go back.

Every time I come to the restaurant, I have an amazing experience... today was no different, except THIS time, I was able to sit DOWN and dine with my husband, son and Nephew! Presentation of food was impeccable.... under the pressure of "busyness", as this was their peak time, Steven (cook) was AMAZING... the wait was minimal for the volume of traffic coming in.... then as usual, Rosa, the owner, was BEAUTIFUL, attentive and amazing! I was finally able to introduce her to my family! Yes, my family was impressed too --- Biscuits and Gravy has NOT disappointed YET ..nor do i expect them to!
You already know....WE'LL BE BACK!!!!

We've eaten here a couple times now to give the place a fair shot, but each time we've been overall disappointed with the experience. Our main complaint is that the quality of the food is seriously lacking. Additionally, the portion sizes are irresponsibly large, particularly when it comes to pancakes, and you can't get half orders. You actually can't make any substitutions of any sort, which is unfortunate for anyone who's picky or has food allergies. The cinnamon roll pancakes were smothered in cream cheese frosting and cinnamon syrup, the pancakes themselves were surprisingly flavorless, with an odd texture. My SO got the two egg breakfast with a biscuit and found the sausage (which only comes in patties) was dry, the eggs were mildly rubbery, and the biscuits tasted like wet flour, totally lacking any hint of flavor. Finally, the coffee was weak and mildly bitter, like it had been sitting on a hot plate for way too long. The major redeeming quality (and the reason for two stars instead of one) is that the service is very good, with quality servers overall.
There are so many other excellent breakfast places in the area, I'd recommend choosing one of those. Suggestions include: Bomber in Ypsilanti, Northside Grill in Ann Arbor, The Honey Hole or, if you want a swanky brunch, the Sardine Room, both in Plymouth, MI. Omelette and Waffle House is also tasty, and has two locations that serve the same food. In Canton, Scrambler Marie's, while very chain-ey, is still better.
