Genova Pizzeria

My bf had gotten pizza here twice and loved it so I decided to treat him and try it this past weekend. I really wanted to like this place because I love European-style pizza but I was highly disappointed. The "roasted peppers" are just diced red peppers that the employee told me is from a can (as are the artichokes). They taste like they're pickled - absolutely not roasted. They forgot the basil we ordered as a topping. I ordered goat cheese and there was actually shredded mozzarella with very little goat cheese and it was crumbled, which is not typical for this kind of cheese. The dough was under-cooked and even raw in some places. When I picked up the pizza, they were absolutely dead - no customers and weren't preparing any order - the oven was even empty. With that said, I am very disappointed that the pizza was that poorly done when they weren't busy. I would've been more content with a cheap frozen pizza from the grocery store. If I actually order from them again, I would get the pizza well-done. The positives: easy to order online, affordable and fair prices.

Wonderful local business that delivers quality food at a great price. You can smell the wood burning stove from blocks away as you arrive at the pizzeria. Many different choices of sauces and toppings to choose from, this is one of my favorite pizzerias

One of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. The taste and look of every ingredient is absolutely great. I’ve been there multiple times and always have had an excellent service. Price is also great for the quality of pizzas they offer.
